Weekly Wrap

No pictures because blogger won't let me upload for some reason and I don't have the time to figure it out right now. OY!

It's a hazy, hot, muggy, kinda ugly day. I think it's only our 2nd ugly day since we've been here.

We spent almost all day baking zucchini bread, homemade refried beans, & shredding LOTS of fresh from the garden zucchini.

We ate haystacks over at Grandpa & Grandmas house... while the chocolate zucchini bread was baking.

Grandma has a Bosch and it is really nice... makes baking/cooking SO much easier!

Dad mowed and trimmed around the {6} shops and {2} houses... I don't think he got to the gas tanks and grain bins.

I've been doing laundry for days... I missed a few days because the washer and dryer were under construction. I do WAY too much laundry!

Grandpa hasn't been feeling good for a few days... they finally decided to take him into the ER after dinner. Please pray for him if you have a moment.

The boys made a HUGE fort in the family room... they used all of their pillows and covers. Now they want to sleep in it tonight. We'll see! I'll probably say yes.

Nolia is walking all over the place... 5-6 steps at a time. Eliza is walking 2-3 steps at a time.

The girls turn ONE next week... I'm excited and sad all at the same time.

The girls just dumped 2 decks of cards and are eating them while I type this... exactly WHY I only blog while everyone is asleep. {grin}

I really need to pick the winner for the $25 gift certificate to here. I'm sorry... I'll get right on that! I just noticed she listed some of her new fall pieces... OH MY! I am IN LOVE with her ruffle pants. Way too cute!

Grandpa shot 2 more raccoons this week... I think it's sad... but that's farm life I guess.

At the grocery store yesterday I picked out some new nail polish {because I forgot to bring some}. Eliza wouldn't let go of it, but then she did and it broke all over the floor on our way out. Lesson learned!

The girls started saying "me-me" this week.... it's really cute!

Paul is teaching the boys poker online.....hmmmmmm.

The girls just started wrecking the boys fort, Ozzie took all his clothes off and Noli is on top of the coffee table.... I better goooooo. {grin}

Happy Friday everyone!

Weekly Wrap

Have you been wondering what I've been up to? You haven't? That's okay... I'll tell you anyway! {grin}
This boy, and his daddy, came home....

oh, how happy I am to have them home again! I do think little Ozzie came home a little older and a little bit more golden. What do you think?!
We've been eating some of this...
...instead of cooking.
And I have been having fun playing with my new lensbaby.... taking pictures of pizza, our other blankie boy & glow sticks! If you love fun creative photography you have to check out this lens! I can not wait to play with it on the farm!

These boys finished their last day of public school {for next year at least}...

I am so excited school is out! And even more excited to start our homeschool journey!

In fact all of these boys will be homeschooled next year...
... we're going to have a BLAST!
I have also been talking with our doctor about baby food. I have more to share on that later!
I'll be announcing the winner for this giveaway shortly. So if you haven't entered yet... you better hurry! And for those who were wondering... I pick the winner using random.org.
With dad's help we'll be picking the winner for this contest today. I LOVE the captions you all have come up with! This was too much fun! Shall we do it again? I think I might have another perfect picture and prize!
Speaking of giveaways... remember this giveaway to Gremadcha Etsy shop?
Here is the necklace on the winner....
isn't it adorable! I can't wait until the girls are ready for necklaces! Oh my, I'm in trouble! {grin}
And if you have noticed... the girls haven't been wearing their bracelets lately because Nolia lost hers. It was on one minute and gone the next. And I STILL can not find it. OY!

Yes, I know I use ! and {grin}'s too much! A girls got to express herself somehow! {grin}

Those who asked about the Charlies Soap that I tweeted about. Yes, I use their laundry powder and LOVE IT! I have used it for years. It is wonderful for anything from cloth diapers to boy grimy clothes to dedicates. I just tried out their all purpose cleaner recently and have fallen head over heels in love. Paul cleaned up his motorcycle the other day with it... when he came back inside he asked why we hadn't been buying this all along! Okay, enough about soap... and no I do not work for the company! {grin}

Now I am off to make something with Avocado in it for lunch and enjoy this beautiful, beautiful day with my boys and girls! {still have a hard time writing boys AND GIRLS} Wow!

Weekly Wrap

the long forgotten Weekly Wrap...

{Grayson took this picture of me... I was pointing at Ozzie}

Spring break is almost over, I'm bummed for me and for the kids. I am ready for summer break... I can only imagine how ready the kids are. I think we had fun break though! Makes me excited about homeschool next year. {if that's what we end up deciding}

The boys started out Spring break with a sleepover at Nana's house... with cupcakes & a movie theater movie!

The next day we drove to 'meet in the middle' to visit with Paul's parents and make the 'boy transfer'...

Gavin and Vance have been in TN all week with their Nana & Papa. Riding semi trucks, bulldozers, 4-wheelers, gators and more! I'm sure they're going to come home dirty and tired... 2 signs of a fun trip!

Grayson spent some time with Papa & Uncle Mitchell here, played with friends, stayed up late, went to his favorite store & I'm sure there is more if I asked him.

We went to the ZOO yesterday... it was a beautiful day! The girls were wonderful and Ozzie and Grayson had a great time... I am so happy it's getting warm enough to start enjoying the zoo again.
************************************

We {the 5 of us} wen to the store yesterday. The girls rode in the cart for the first time. It was ADORABLE! I had both of them sitting up front with a blanket behind them and one on each side, with their doll hooked to the bar. I put the maya wrap around both of them and the back of the seat and it kept them there perfectly. It was so cute, I can not believe I didn't take a picture. I had my camera right there since we were on our way home from the Zoo. I guess I'll just have to remember next time. {grin}

****************************

The gosh darn cheese post! People!!! I have spent so much time writing, looking up links to confirm what I"m saying, reading more, writing more, ect. and then....................

I LOST IT

I didn't save it and some how notepad got closed {um... boys}

lesson learned... do not use notepad without saving. It does NOT auto recover!

When you see this post you will know why it took me SO LONG... and writting it twice. Oh My!

anyway... it's done now. It's scheduled. The post will be up any day now! Thank you for your patience {grin}

******************************

can we say
JOB
FULL TIME
PRAISE GOD

Yes, Paul is working full time now as a contractor and will be going permanent this month! It was a LONG road to get here but we are so thankful for this wonderful opportunity. Even though it has been very financially challenging the last 9 months I do feel blessed to have had Paul home so much. Through my bed rest, the accident and everything else. He has been so wonderful!

We are settling into our 'new' normal... even though it will take us some time to get back on the path. I am sure one day we will look back and it won't seem so bad, we will be able to cherish the time Paul has been able to spend with the family.... watching the girls through their newborn-ness and being with us everyday. It truly is a gift. Even though it isn't an option for him to not work {dreaming.. ha!}... I wish he was still home.

********************************

Lastly I just want to say Thank you to all of my wonderful readers, friends, commenters, family and lurkers {grin}. There are FAR MORE wonderful people out there than haters. And I praise God for that! I am leaving anonymous turned on because of that... there are more positive ones than negative and I love to hear from you!

enough said... just wanted to say Thank you to all of you!

*********************************
Everyone {who commented} seemed to love the idea of sharing more "What's for lunch" posts. I will for sure keep that up and I have more what we eat posts in the works. I love hearing how much you all love the tips, info & suggestions. It really makes all the work worth it. I love sharing with others and it is a blessing to hear how it is encouraging you all.

***********************************

I have a cloth diaper post and GIVEAWAY coming up soon! Wahooo!
plus FOUR more givaways... exciting stuff peoples! {grin}

*********************************

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh, and don't forget Random Picture Challenge tomorrow! I promise I won't! {it's already scheduled}

Weekly Wrap

it's been a while since I've done a weekly wrap... I like doing them so I can look back and see what I was doing and whatnot.

This week... I feel like a cross between a bobble head and a babbling monkey. Nice image huh! {grin}

It's been a flurry of activity, not sure if I can even remember what I've done this week.

Paul worked 4 out of 5 days this week... it's not a permanent job, only a contract 'project' job. Not sure when it will end. He's still looking for more projects. Thinking that might be the way to go.

Ozzie has been using the potty for weeks now, getting better all the time. He stays dry almost every night but is wet at nap time. It's a lot of work potty training but it will be worth it!!

I saw Dr. Jen this week {chiropractor} my bones are healing but my body is at war. More on that in a separate post. While we were there I had to take Ozzie to the bathroom twice. I HATE public bathrooms!!!

I was a pack mule a few times this week... I had to pick up Gavin from school and in order to do that I had to carry 2 infant seats and Ozzie across a parking lot, into the building, down the stairs, down the hall and back up again. I ended up wearing Ozzie in the pouch sling and carry a car seat on each arm. Not sure which was worse the pain in my back or the stares and comments. {grin} I really need to get a picture of me doing this... just for the memory.

I'm working REALLY hard on a new bedtime routine and it's actually working! YEAH! For years we've been reading together {all of us} and it was just getting to chaotic and stressful so I've split the kids up. Seems to be working so far!

We've also been making a big effort to do one on one things with the kids. Even if it's just running to the store or out to the barn, even cleaning up the kitchen I've assigned one child per night so we can spend some time together. Seems to be going well.

I've had a headache almost every morning for the last few weeks... Dr. Jen is helping me figure it out. I really have to take my health more seriously. I can't care for my children if I'm not doing well. {more on this in another post too}

there is snow outside, I LOVE snow, it makes me happy! Wishing for lots more!!!

We're only doing 50/50 with the cloth diapers - it's hard to keep up!

We have homegroup tonight... haven't been since the babies were born. The boys are excited!

Okay, my 'break' is up, 3 sleeping kids and I need to get something done!!!

peace out!

weekly wrap

it's only been FOREVER since I've put up a weekly wrap... I guess I don't have much else to say these days so I'll just tell you what we've been up to.

Monday we met with another lawyer, complete dud!! So after we wasted our morning there we had to go and to the police station and sign a release on the car and take it to the impound lot so the insurance company could come and take our car. The car is totaled... huge surprise... NOT!!

Tuesday I went to the chiro again... it's a weekly date now. {grin} Ribs... owwwwww!

Wednesday we went to meet with ANOTHER lawyer... went much better but I think we're going to find someone else still. Something just kept bothering me, finally I figured out that we need to talk with a female lawyer. The men just DON'T GET IT! Labor, pushing, broken chest, you didn't want your pregnancy to end quickly, what!?! Yeah!

Thursday my wonderful friend Shelly came over to visit and see the GIRLS! We've been non-stop on the go for the last 3 weeks. It was really nice to sit and visit and watch Ava & Ozzie play. They are SO cute! Ava melted my heart with her little "I love you's" Come on Ozzie... it's YOUR turn! {grin}

Today... oh today... it's rainy... i'm tired. Grayson and Vance are at school, Gavin in at preschool. We had to cancel the girls 3 week check up because we STILL do not have insurance numbers for them and they aren't showing up in the system. At least they don't really NEED to be seen. Our pedi hasn't seen Ozzie since he was 2 weeks old. Oh and our ONE old copper plumping pipe has decided to back up today. But it's okay... it only effects the washing machine, laundry sink, kitchen sink, dishwasher, and downstairs toilet... NO BIG DEAL! HA!

I NEED sleep... I NEED to be comfortable and it's not happening... at least not yet. My HUGE blanket heating pad came in the mail yesterday. YEAH!

Oh speaking of mail.. I LOVE mail.. a few of you have put HUGE smiles on my face lately. There was even a mystery gift! I took some pictures and i'll be posting soon. I must know who sent that rockin' awesome gift!

*** and I do have more pictures, they're just on my camera right now***

Weekly Wrap

I feel like I’ve skipped this the last few weeks… hmmmm…. Must have been busy. Ha!

I am feeling soooooo picture empty lately. This big BELLY and the couch seem to be getting in my way. I need to figure out a way to get around it because not taking pictures really makes me feel down. I LOVE taking pictures and sharing them. *grin*

The house is surviving… Paul is doing an awesome job helping with the kids and the house. He’s really amazing me. We’ve been playing lots of card games… it’s really fun having boys that are old enough to play and really get it.

I’ve been SLOWLY working on another “you asked it”…. I’m half way done. Maybe I’ll get it finished today.

My mom has the 3 big boys for the day… we brought them over last night. They were THRILLED and I’m sure are having a blast.

No big plans for the weekend… just enjoying the lazy days with my family.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Weekly Wrap

School's out for the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO happy. Just in time too... no more hurry up, get ready, get the kids ready, make breakfast, pack lunch, get in the car, drop off, come home, unload, clean the kitchen.... i'm tired just thinking about it. I would LOVE to homeschool at some point. I am still praying that if I am supposed to that God will lead the way when it's time. Off topic...

It's been a slow adjusting week.... but we're doing it. My wonderful friend Shelly has offered to make us a meal once a week and is organizing getting some other mom's in our mom's group to help too. God put this woman in my life for a reason. *grin* I just hope that I will be able to bless her and her family the way she has blessed ours.

Paul is on a short leave from work so that will be wonderful.... isn't it fun when God answers your prayers quickly... if only all prayers were answered so fast. :)

My in-laws are coming for the weekend... the boys are super excited to see them again so soon. Maybe this time i'll get some pictures... from my new perspective.

It's HOT HOT HOT.... i'm not a whiner but I may be by the time this summer is over. Oh my! It was 93 yesterday. I LOVE AIR CONDITIONING. It's really not the heat, it's the humidity.

My goal next week is to enjoy lots of time reclining on the patio on our new patio set while watching the boys play in the little pool. Oh summer fun! Hopefully with dad home we'll get to do a few things out and about... I can sit in ANY chair. *grin*

have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Weekly Wrap

Just taking it easy... easier said that done. But we're trying. *grin* Paul's been working at the Muirfield house most of the week and it's FINALLY summer *I think*. It's 80 today... i'm happy... just don't get any hotter. ha!

The boys had their school carnival last night... it was a lot of fun. I didn't bring my camera *gasp*. I just didn't feel up to it. Kind of sad. Next week is the boys last week of school. I am SO excited! I can not wait for summer break. I really hate sending them to school each day... it still feels so odd.

Well i'm off to 'take it easy' and lay on the couch with my G.W. while Ozzie is napping.

I have my OB appointment on Monday and my Peri appointment on Tuesday... i'm curious to see how the babies are doing and if these contractions are doing anything. I hope not.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Tired belly, 60/40 and busy weekend

Great title huh? I'm feeling really creative today... can't you tell. *grin* I GASP didn't take any picture this weekend... despite the fact that I did have plenty of fun things to take pictures of. It may have something to do with my big/little tired belly.

Oh how I ache. I hesitate even saying anything yet because I know this is NOTHING compared to how I'm going to feel in a few weeks. This past week was really hard... I have to start slowing down. And I am... but it's HARD. I have been wearing a belly belt, or whatever you call those things. It really does help, but oh please, I won't be wearing it out in public and my tanks are much to thin to hide such a contraption. So... home I am, trying to let my body catch up. I really think I'm so uncomfortable because my belly is growing so fast and I'm doing too much while they are stretching. Plus i've been having daily contractions... we'll find out next Monday if they are doing any 'damage'. SLOWING DOWN SHOULD BE FUN... but very well worth it.

60/40 and girls are in the lead. You all have some HOPE! HA! I know you all want to know now... and you can not believe we are waiting to find out. I should say... it isn't exactly easy not knowing. But it is SO WORTH it in the end. The surprise after 8 months and delivering TWO babies will be AWESOME. Plus if they are boys... I really don't want to know now. I am so in LOVE with them right now I would hate to have ANY little bit of disappointment. As soon as we see our little boys we will be head over heels in love with them all over again and there will be no room for disappointment. Am I making any sense?? Ha! God knows the perfect plan for our family and I trust in him. Boys or Girls they will be AMAZINGLY awesome and fit into our family perfectly.

Busy Busy weekend... My father came into town for a 'surprise' visit and we had a grand time hanging out, going out to eat, buying a patio set & having fun. Paul had to 'work' Sunday and Monday setting up a house for the Muirfield tournament. He's working there today too... boo hoo.. big house on the golf course with food and beer. He IS working too. :)

I FINALLY got a new card for my camera that holds more than 20 pictures at a time. Yeah! I can not believe it took me 'er' Paul this long to get a new one. So hopefully i'll have LOTS of picture to share this week. That is if my belly doesn't get in the way.

Where's your head?

aka weekly wrap...

Sometimes I really wonder where the heck my head is... in the clouds, on the floor, in my washer, or the shower, somewhere other than on my shoulders. This week I have been a little overly, uh, i hesitate to say obsessed but maybe I was. Anyway... on baby research. I have all of the sudden this week been in the mode of "what do I need... we're having TWINS". So I registered for and researched baby gear and diapers and read twin mommies forums. I even went INTO Babies R Us yesterday to check out some of the gear I had registered for online to make sure it was... you know... real. I got a little lost in there... wow that place is big and has EVERYTHING. I do know for sure that the ONE infant seat that will work in our van so that both captain seats will flip forward with the bases in so the boys can get to the back.

Thank you Thank you to all you mommies that gave suggestions and comments. I was wondering if anyone would comment because you would all think "she has 4 kids... she doesn't need any advice" We ALL need advice and there is always more to learn. :) Like.... that bouncy seats would be a good idea? I honestly thought that I didn't want them and would just use a swing. Hmmm.... I did end up registering for 2 bouncy seats. We'll see if we get them.

random thoughts that have been running through my head this week...

I'm planning on using a changing pad in the laundry room, just setting it beside the washer and then laying it on the counter or washer to change the babies

I defiantly don't want highchairs... take up too much room and they grow out of them. I would LIKE to get a wood chair that serves as a highchair and then a regular chair. Does anyone have one of those??

We have 2 possible crib offers from friends so we'll use one for sure and keep the other one in the 'wings'.

I really think we need a video monitor so I can see the babies and see if one is waking the other one up or is they are having trouble sleeping together.

I AM getting the bumbleride indie twin stroller. I know no one will buy it since it's $589 but if we get some money I will put it towards that. We walk a lot and a good stroller is a MUST HAVE.

I am defiantly going to make note on the shower invites that we would like to have gift certificates for clothing rather than buying them ahead. Especially since we don't know what we are having. Anyone know of a good place to ask for certificates from... I would REALLY like to dress the babies identical or at LEAST coordinating. I was thinking Carters (used to hate... now it's actually cute) & Old Navy. Any other ideas? All of my boys wear Gap and Polo for the most part... but IF these are girls I don't like Polo or Gap as much for girls.

For sure using bum genius diapers... I am going to buy a bunch of Smalls and then a few more Larges. I will use 7th generation disposables for the first few weeks until they fit into the smalls and then go to Larges. Ozzie wore a Large at 5 months and still does.

okay... that's about all I can think of now. Weeew!

Oh I went to Kroger's and to Trader Joe's this week and spent $500 on food. OY! I guess there are worse ways of spending money. :)

have a great weekend everyone!

Weekly Wrap

I had so many intentions of posting this week... a new "as seen in", all of the new links, ect. ect. ect.

but I didn't get it done... I must have been busy. Ha!

Monday was my OB appointment

Tuesday was my chiropractor appointment

Wednesday I had a horrible allergy attack

Thursday was mom's group and then we all went to eat at Chick-fil-a... the ONLY place i'll eat chicken. And then I went on a hunt for non-maternity shorts that I can wear right now... because I have a HORRIBLE time keeping my pants up. Maternity pants SUCK! I have the new low waist, no waist, whatever but they just don't fit me. I HATE pulling my pants up all the time. ha! I checked Old Navy and Target... no luck. They had some cute bermuda shorts but they were sweat shirt material. I don't think I need any extra heat for this summer. Does anyone else get an idea in their head of what they want and then they can't find it. I know exactly what I want the waist, length, fabric, ect. But I can't find it. OY! So I guess I'll just stick to my yoga pants for now.

Then today I went to some garage sales. Big surprise huh? I found a REALLY long, like 20 hooks, coat rack to put on the front porch. I am moving the regular entry from the mud room to the enclosed front porch because then I don't have to see it all the time. ha! Plus we need more room. Maybe i'll get that project done this weekend?? It REALLY is a project, it has lots of give-aways, and all that stuff that doesn't have a home.

I'm really in the mood to purge now... nesting anyone?!?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Weekly Wrap

Well... it snowed this week and I didn't get to go to my dr. appointment. OY!

Okay... no really... this week wasn't bad. It was actually a nice week with lots of spring days and an odd morning of snow that melted by 10am. I really feel like I have pregnant brain this week. I have no idea what I did.

I didn't get to go to my peri appointment and have my much anticipated ultrasound because of some nameless person. (it's not family or friends... but they could be reading) I really think it came down to A LOT of not listening and miscommunication. Plus some lack of priorities. ANYWAY... I visit my regular OB on Monday and I'll have an ultrasound then.

My in-laws are coming this weekend... it's been a while since they've been here and the boys are very excited.

the babies aren't moving much more... still about the same and i'm getting anxious for them to be crazy in there. In time In time! I am slightly worried I felt my 1st contraction of this pregnancy... It was because of the following...

I took a huge load to Goodwill AGAIN... how do we get so much stuff... oh yeah... I go to Goodwill every week. I think I DO give more than I buy though. I can't stand clutter and I am already in a nesting mood so everything that I don't LOVE or NEED must go.

I FINALLY finished the clothing swap... everything is put away, labeled and organized in drawers. Oh so nice!

I went to more garage sales today *gasp* big surprise huh? I found another laundry basket... 2 weeks in a row. And some spy gear for the boys... it's all about the spy gear don't you know?!?

Well Ozzie is STILL sleeping and I need to get a few more things done so I can sit and relax with my boys this evening.

have a great weekend everyone!

Weekly Wrap

Oh what a week! I am once again unable to access my pictures on the computer. LOVE my hubby... LOVE when I have the fastest, easiest, every program I want computer... only slightly bummed when I don't have my lovely computer because he is working on making it bigger, better and faster. I guess the home computer(s) are his 'test lab'. LOVE YOU BABE!
Anyway... this week... let's see.
We let the boys play hookie on Monday... the weather was beautiful and it's been beautiful since. We have spent hours outside this week. Oh how wonderful the sun feels.
Wednesday and Thursday were full of visiting with friends and letting the kids play. It is SO wonderful to have a group of women or in my case 2 groups of women (small group & mom's group) that are always there for you. Our mom's group is reading Having a Mary Spirit right now... what a WONDERFUL book. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a new read.
I had to cancel my appointment on Thursday with my perinatologist... I am/was very annoyed with a certain person that caused me to cancel this. It wasn't family or friends... it was someone else that probably doesn't even realize all the inconvenience and disappointment their lack of priorities has caused. Anyway... it is rescheduled for next Thursday. YEAH! I have 3 appointments within 5 days. 2 of which are ultrasounds and one is with our chiropractor. Fun Fun! I better get used to waiting rooms for a while.
I don't know if any of your kids are into webkinz but my boys love them... mainly just playing with the animals. My boys are all huge animal lovers. Anyway... a friend told me about a sale at Hallmark... it's basically buy one get one free. So a friend and I went together and took turns running in/sitting in the car with the kids so they didn't know. Then after a multitude of stops... you know... back home... bathroom... food... we made it to a big church rummage sale. I found a few baskets and a very cool Franco Sarto purse/diaper bag for $1 plus a few other goodies. I love garage sale season.
The breeze is blowing through the windows, the sun is shining, Gavin and Ozzie are sleeping and I have a little over an hour before Grayson and Vance are off of school so I'm going to go put my feet up and rest.
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL relaxing weekend! Talk to you soon!

Weekly Wrap

No email, no internet, no pictures, no blogging

so instead of blogging this week we did.... not much else! ha!

I had my 14 week appointment on Monday. Yeah! We got to see the babies... boy have they grown already. I mean it's obvious by the vast expansion of my belly but it was really cool to see it on the u/s. Last time you could see both babies at the same time but this time it was only one at a time with a little leg or arm from the other one in the picture. Paul was there and tried to take a video with our little camera but it didn't show much because she was moving it around too fast checking things. I didn't say anything before but at our first appointment my OB was very concerned that our twins might be monoamniotic which is when they share the same sac and placenta. It is very risky. There are high chances of the babies becoming entangled in each others cords since they aren't separated... which leads to malnutrition and possibly fatal. After I left dr. when she told me that I just prayed and prayed and I knew they were fine. Well... sure enough... as soon as she turned the u/s on she saw the membrane. Plain as day... right there... seprated just like they should be. Thank GOD! So everything looks great... they're growing just like they should. We're still considered high risk because they are identical and share a placenta. Plus my past history of preterm labor. So I'll be going to a peri and my ob every other week. I'll have 15 u/s by the time we're done. How fun! I can't wait to see them every other week and I think it will make the pregnancy go by really fast. Okay... enough about that...

The boys have spring break next week and we're heading south to visit family so I've been trying to get everything ready around here. For the sake of my sanity I sure hope Paul finds time to get the jammed dvd out of the dvd player in the van before we go... because 9 hours without a movie might drive me to insanity! Ha!

Oh and how could I forget.... I was just going out my normal daily laundry... washing... drying... but when I opened the dryer I noticed large globs of GREEN, BLUE, RED, ORANGE CRAYON all over my dryer! Oh and don't forget all over 50+ pieces of clothing that was in the dryer with the crayons. Ozzie's favorite Oink baby outfit, my fav pants and tank, lots of boys gap & polo shirts and pants. OY OY OY! The internet was down, I had no idea what to do to clean it off. So... I called my oh so WONDERFUL friend Shelly and she came right over to help. We scrubbed the dryer with goof-off (that stuff is TOXIC) and it did clean off. There is still a faded sheen of color on the drum but it's hardly noticable. And the HUGE glob in the corner is most of the way gone. There are little marks here and there and if I get the energy I may go back and clean it off more. But at least it's not ruined. The clothes however are another story... about half have come clean and the other half... including Ozzie's Oink shirt.... are not looking so hopeful. I've been working on them since Wednesday morning. There sitting on the counter soaking with 'goo-gone' for the 3rd time. We'll see! It's just clothes right!

I went to a jewlery party Tuesday night... it was wonderful... I didn't buy a thing but found a ring I was in love with... just didn't love the price of $84 for a sterling silver ring.

Thursday we went to mom's group and I met Kate for the first time. It's so fun to meet people you met on blog land first... even though she's a long time friend of Shelly's so I knew we would most likely meet one day.

My email is finally working after 2 weeks of problems. Getting to my pictures that are on a different computer is another problem though. So... no picture to share yet. I have lots of Easter pictures oh and a picture of the wonderful wax glob in my dryer... you know... life!

oh & I'm getting a cold... blah! I feel okay other than my nose. I ran out of Calcium lactate earlier this week and what do you know... now i'm getting sick. I just hope I feel better before we leave and that the kids don't get sick. No! No! No!

Sorry for the book! If you read this far YEAH FOR YOU! You may not hear much from me for the next week or so as we'll be out of town. I'm SO excited to get my hubby away from work. Yeah!!! The boys are pumped about tractors and dirt and cousins and warm weather. I'm sure i'll have lots of pictures to share when we get back.

Weekly Wrap

Oh the sun was out today and it was beautiful! Ozzie and his boots made it outside and he was THRILLED! The boys raced up and down the alley, jumped on the trampoline and played in the HUGE mud puddles in our neighbors yard. *my floors love them*

I'm really looking forward to this weekend... not only is it Easter and we get to celebrate Jesus but I LOVE big family meals. To just be, and enjoy and spend time together is so special. We'll be going over to my parents and my brothers will be there, Grandma & my father is coming into town too. It will be great! Oh and LOTS of good food too.

I'm feeling better (yesterday & today) I'm really hoping that since i'm into the 2nd trimaster that I'll start feeling back to normal... well as normal as it's going to get. Ha!

Oh and I go to my OB on Monday to have another ultrasound... I'm super excited to see our two little babies moving around on the screen again. And Paul's coming this time... he's pumped too!

I'm trying to find more diapers for Ozzie right now. I was just going to make due with how many we have BUT since we'll need more anyway I might as well get them now. If you or anyone you know is selling any bum genius diapers let me know!

I think that's about it... I have chili cooking on the stove and a bunch of super crazy boys. Life is good!

Have a great weekend everyone!

late Weekly Wrap

It's March, it's still cold, it's muddy & i'm REALLY ready for spring.

So is Ozzie... he wants to go outside so bad, he gets his yellow boots and is ready to go. He keeps watching out the window or the back door. It's really very cute... but I really wish we could go out. I guess we could but it's just so WET and blah and cold and yeah I'm complaining. I'll stop. So anyway...the BOOTS are adorable!

I'm starting to realize that I may need a triple stroller????? How can I walk the boys to and from school with 2 infants and a 20 month old. I mean I can wear one or both in the begining but as they get bigger that's not going to work. I found the double stroller I want http://www.bumbleride.com/collection2008/indie-twin.php# Yeah it's $589... we'll see about that.

I've had a headache for over a week.... I don't know if it's the hormones the weather or what. I've stayed away from all forms of msg & soy. I'm starting to think my body can't tolerate hydrogenated oils... which we stay far away from anyway. BUT I did by the boys a treat at the store on Wednesday *cheese-its* and they have hydro-oil and I ate them. OY!!!

I entered a giveaway here I never enter giveaways because I never win. But I figured I'd give it a shot. It would be really nice to have a carrier that Paul would wear too. In fact this might be nessesity. :)

Oh and Jamie gave me an award! Yeah! I need to go save the image to put it on my sidebar.

My cell phone is still missing in the house... 3 months now. OY!

Paul is still working 80-90 hours... it WILL get better. :) Oh they are putting together a pool at his office. Voting on boys or girls and when they'll come. Ha! I think everyone is thinking boys.

My brother is finally home boot camp and tech school. We're SO GLAD to have him home!

This week I promise I'll take a new belly picture AND a new 'as seen in' is coming.

bye for now!

Weekly Wrap (finally)

So I’ve skipped the last two Fridays… even though I thought about writing my weekly wrap I never actually made it the computer to do so. But today isn’t over yet… So here goes the weekly wrap!

First of all you are all WAY TO KIND… all those ‘hot mamma’ and ‘lookin good’ comments made me smile. Thank you for boosting my mood everyone!

I have no idea where this week went… it just flew by. My birthday was Sunday, Vance’s birthday was Monday, my dad was in town, all the snow and delays and snow day just made this week fly.

As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE snow… I’m really ready to get out outside and get back to our walking routine. I’m feeling so sedentary and blah.

We have our annual small group game night tomorrow night… YEAH! Friends…Games…Food…NO kids!

I have been on a cooking strike lately… and I am SO SICK OF IT! I want to get back into my routine of planning the meals and going to the store every Friday but it seems so daunting sometimes. I really wish the store wasn’t so far away and I REALLY WISH that I had a magical kitchen that cleaned itself. We just keep snacking and making simple meals and it’s getting old really quick. Next week I’m getting back on track.. I am.. I am.. I am. I’ll let you know how that goes. J

Our Aero Garden is growing so fast and we’re about ready to have lots of herbs to use. We have another one that is just sitting there… we need to go buy seeds. I’m getting anxious to get our garden planted… I guess I should start planning it out too.

And… I have a WONDERFUL surprise for everyone next week… so check back!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Peace out, BC

Weekly Wrap

Yeah It's Friday again! I love Fridays because it's the end of the week. We can stay up tonight and relax and enjoy our family without having to rush out the door to school, work, ect. in the morning. I love just being with out family... no other plans... just us.

I'm STILL missing my cell phone... it's been almost 2 weeks... I know it's in the house... just don't know where. If you've tried to reach me... and obviously didn't... send me an email. I'm sorry. To be honest it's been slightly nice not having a phone. :)

It's been cold and wet and cold and wet all week here.. i'm really missing walking to and from school.

We started our Aero garden last Friday and we have 4 sprouting plants. yeah! We're so excited to start growing herbs and veggies.

Oh so sweet Sadie is losing her 'sweet'. Well... I guess she's still sweet but she's been a little bit of a brat. She stole food off of the counter twice. I'm so annoyed... I don't deal well with dogs that steal food. If it's on the floor... it's hers but if it's not... it's NOT hers.

We went to Goodwill AGAIN this week... it's pretty much without a doubt we'll go to Goodwill each week. I've said it before... I have an ADDICTION. But I found a pair of Birkenstock footprints green leather boots for Vance or GW... they fit both of them really. They're AWESOME! And I found a pair of like new Born black leather dress shoes for Paul. Wahooo! I love thrift stores.

Somehow my hair decided to stop curling like it used to after my hair cut. And it's really ANNOYING! I know it will grow out and start to curl like it used to but...... hurry up already! It's slowly re curling but S L O W L Y.

So many new people stopping by and leaving comments... I love it! If you're new... YEAH i'm so glad you're here! and I hope you keep coming back. I try to respond to my comments but if you don't have your email displayed with blogger it does show up and I can't respond to you. So if you didn't hear from me....... I wanted to... I just couldn't. :)

I think that's about it! Have a great weekend!

peace out
