  1. Did I miss the announcement of you having boys, or are you just saying how it would be IF you had 6 boys

  2. I think you would need a bigger couch AND a padded room!!

    Oh, and earplugs!!

I think we are "just" going to have THREE boys in November and even I don't know what I'll do:)

  3. I LOVE these pictures...they arent bad at all!

And I say what Mck Mama says...I only have 3 and wonder what I will do when they are bigger! =)

  4. Actually my older son is calmer than my daughters--the younger son would love to join your boys on the couch.
Whatever you get 6 boys or 4 boys and twin girls--it will be the perfect family for you :)

  5. You'll do great either way *wink*. There's a mama on a cloth-diapering board I visit that just had her 8th son (no girls). My biggest fear is how to feed my boys when their all teenagers; they already eat me out of house and home.

    Rest well!

  7. Well, with 6 boys you will never be bored! haha

But somehow I have a feeling you're going to have girls this time around ;) Not much longer till we all find out! Whoo-hoo!

  8. ok, so after 2 days ofnot posting anything and then I see what am I going to do with 6 boys I thought something had happened. WOW. I can't imagine having to be on bedrest with 4 boys. You are being an amazing mom to the 4 boys and the 2 suprises that are to come! Keep up the good work!!

  9. Well, I'll say this much...there would be an awful lot of bodily "noises". I only have one boy and he is a certifiable methane farm!
On the other hand, he's my oldest and I've had 4 girls since him. I'm up to my ears in tutu's, Barbies and baby dolls. It sure would be nice if I needed to buy trucks for this next little one! :)
Oh, and I wouldn't necessarily say a bigger couch, just a very sturdy one! lol!

  10. I love that they are just having fun. Being loud, crazy and fun.
Glad to know you are ok. Got worried a little bit when you didn't post.

  11. I don't know 'cause I don't know what to do with my 'three' boys! I wouldn't have it any other way though...boys are wonderful!

  12. Cute pics!! I have to get some wrestling shots of my oldest 2. I just have to say, and maybe it's just my girl, but my girl wrestless just as much as her brother, so maybe you'll need a bigger couch anyways :) My SIL just had her 5th boy in a row (the 2 oldest are girls making it a family of 7 children) and she was saying the same thing about needing a bigger wrestling area :) Can't wait to find out what you are having!!

  13. I'll be thinking of you while the kids and I are away this weekend.

When you get a sec could you email me your address? I'm thinking ahead to when your babies are born and guessing you'll be pretty busy and unable to respond to all the well wishes right away.

Rest up and happy couch blogging. :)

  16. So much fun! No matter which way you slice it--boys, girls, mix--6 is bound to be all sorts of wackiness. ;) Good wackiness though, as least most of the time I imagine. =)

  17. The photos say it all don't they?! More than the padded room, earplugs or bigger couch...can your heart grow any more? Boys just have a way of stealing your heart...I cannot imagine the amazing feeling you get watching that interaction. Man I am feeling sappy tontie...tearing up and all!

  18. Good times ahead........either way! :)

  19. I don't know but if God gives you that all I can say is that he has quite a sense of humor. Are you laughing yet? ; )s

  20. You could look at it as you would be able to a new couch earlier! (Like when they break the one you have!.. If you had girls... I don't think tea parties would bust a couch. Of course with 4 older bros I'm sure they would be in on the mix too!)
Oh... how about a basketball team, or baseball team... you're on your way ;)

  21. Hmmm, my two have been insane like that all summer. I shudder to think what if Ava had been a boy...she's rowdy enough as it is! :-)

  22. My grandma had 5 boys and I hear horrible stories about them throwing bricks, scissors, and darts at each other. They were fighting all the time. My hubby's grandma had 4 boys and they actually bought them boxing gloves and sent them out in the backyard to duke it out. HA! Isn't that crazy?
It makes me more than a bit nervous thinking about having a fourth child and a possible fourth boy. What WOULD you do with 6? Yipes!!! ;)

  23. I'm glad you cleared that up, that you don't know, for sure!

I've been wondering where you've been.

  24. Louder, VERY hard on the furniture, CRAZY reeeediculous food bills...

unlimited smiles... and wooooowee, just think of the work force!!!

yep... more helping hands inspires me to be diligent about training them now.

    SOON Britney...
    so happy for you!

  25. Hi! I linked over from a friends blog, and I've enjoyed reading about your cute family (I went as far back as your cute, colorful purse collection = LOVE!)

It sounds like we are welcome to ask questions...so here's for your next round of Q&A ;-) You said you have a "feeling" the twins will be girls. Did you have a sense when you were preggers with your boys that they were going to be boys each time? Just curious! I am the WORST guesser about baby's genders, mine and others!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, there could be quite the dog-pile with 6. Probably some things would be easier with two more of the same gender but other things not. I am sure you will find peace and contentment either way.

  28. What a beautiful sight...a house full of life!

Prayers as you near the end of this journey!

  29. It's hectic enough with 2 boys, I can't imagine what it's like with more!

  30. You'll be in heaven. Raise up right and they will always take care of Mommy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's GIRLS anyhow. It'll bring some prissiness to your house. :)

  32. My blood pressure literally just went up at the THOUGHT of 6 boys- or 4 for that matter!! I have ONE boy and am expecting my FOURTH girl around October first and I constantly see reasons why I am a girl mom!!!! Like the fact that just imagining a bunch of boys with all their WILDNESS (which I KNOW is normal and healthy) actually made my heart race with trepidation! Of course with girls you have screeching and screaming and whining and cat fights and arguments over dress up clothes and purses and coloring books. I'll take that :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ha Ha Ha I've just been away for the weekend with my crew...one husband, one daughter, three sons and cooking my twins...ALL I thought the whole time was what if they are two more boys....all I could come up with was well, I'll be fine...~I hope~....
from far away, I've got your back on this one!!
great shots btw...they are having a ball

I saw a friend of mine who only has two boys the other day, she was laughing at me about having twins and asked if I knew what sex they were...we don't. She said 'oh, having girls would be great but you know what you are doing with boys'...I replied "feed them lots and let them stay outside as long as they want to" she added 'and let them get DIRTY, change and clean them ONCE a day'...she has 'big' boys 14 and 7...I still think littlies sometimes need more cleaning than once a day but big ones I thoroughly agree :):)

  34. Hmmmmm. Just keep them busy instead of fighting! :)

  35. Stop teasing. I know, I've thought about it. But what if you have 4 boys and 2 girls? Either way ... you are so blessed.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Shoot! Did you read that Birth Calendar I sent you and now it says all boys??? I am not claiming a 100% accuracy!?! HA

    ReplyDelete
  37. I actually think those pics are great. They totally reflect what goes on here, and I only have three boys. You will have so much fun.

    Looks a little familiar!

    6 boys - they'll have A LOT of fun together. : )

4 boys 2 girls - um...my girl seems to be as active and wild as the boys (she doesn't know anything different) : )
Oh, and they'll still have A LOT of fun together!

I getting more and more curious....
