some of us

...really wanted to make this
so some of us collected ingredients
and some of us poured coconut milk into the bowl
then some of us mixed...
and mixed

some of us ate huge spoonfuls
and some of us used a care bear for a spoon
some of us spilled on our shirt
and some of us laughed...
a lot
some of us spilled on the table
but we all LOVED
snow ice cream!
.snow ice cream.

big batch
16 cups fresh snow {not hard packed}
2 3/4 cups coconut milk
1 dropper full of liquid stevia
3/4 cup demerara sugar
2 T pure vanilla

mix. mix. mix.
and enjoy! {grin}

  6. OH how yummy! Last time we had a big snow, I made my kids frozen hot chocolate, it was sooo good and they keep asking for it, unfortunately we don't live where it snows a lot. :)

  10. I am curious where you got that tin measuring cup. I have the same one (I think) and it was passed down from my grandma. It is super beat up but I love using it because it reminds me of her. :)

  11. Yum. The best dessert I have ever had in my life was at a Thai restaurant. It was coconut ice cream (or sorbet... can't remember exactly), some carmelized banana and a little dark chocolate drizzle. So amazing, and I totally hated coconut at the time.

    What fun!! I'm sitting down here in Alabama pining for my days in the upper midwest with all that snow. (okay.. just pining only a little. Certainly don't want to get stuck in those snow drifts!)

    We have you a little shout-out tonight, BTW

  14. Love these! Great family idea! That last picture of Eliza or Nolia is simply beautiful. The curl by her eye and the ice cream dripping down her chin. I would positively be framing that one if I was you!
