random eye candy...

and a little bit of talk.

It's harvest time...
and that means BUSY.

I never understood what that meant until recently.
10pm dinners.
driving around in the field...
trying to find which combine your children are in.
buzz of the business band
packing LOTS of lunches
equipment all over the farm & field
empty shop... perfect for scootering
and so much more!

I took this picture on the last warm day...
it's 50
windy
and now rainy.

hubby has been busy with contract work AND farming
...which means he has his phone
...and the Internet

but who cares about that!
Doesn't this photo melt your heart...

I've been BUSY with homeschool
...it's going {wonderfully}
better than I expected.

and about the {moving}

...we moved into the grandparents house
because it's hunting season
...and they rent the little house out to hunters.

We are {here} right now
...with no plans of coming home very soon.

there is no water, electric, gas at our home right now
...and it may not be our home for much longer.

God has a plan!
I trust God's plan!
He is bigger than ANY of our troubles!
...it's {still} hard...

.................................................................

on a {BRIGHTER} note
I was picked to be a part of an {awesome} babywearing triathlon
I am so excited I can hardly wait!

{I think mail on the farm is even more exciting than mail in the city} :)

................................................................

and in honor of babywearing week {that I missed!}
I'll be talking about babywearing for the rest of the week
...and I even have an AWESOME giveaway!

peace out pretty people!

  1. Been following you for a VERY long time but I don't think I have ever said anything. Last year our home became no longer our home, it was our first home. I understand how hard it is and I am sorry you guys have to go through that. You have a wonderful family and I hope you nothing but joy and happiness. Thanks for taking pictures that warm my heart each week.

  16. I have been reading your blog for awhile now and I never realized why you moved in with your family (duh!?) until today. I am so sorry for the struggles you are going though but you are so blessed, which I'm sure I don't have to tell you, that you have family that can lend a hand.

    And your right, God has a plan and he will provide.

    Thinking about you and your family during this time.

  19. I am praying that as you open yourself up to strangers on this site, you would receive no negative comments and only love and support. I can only imagine what some judgemental know-it-alls are thinking and pray they keep their thoughts to themselves. Also praying for you guys as you go through this time.

    I understand the home thing...we're currently living with some friends from church as we work on finding a workable housing situation. God has been faithful (as always!) to bless us through this time, and I know He'll do the same for your family.

    Beautiful pics...I love the last one of you and the sunset.
