When an Ozzie loves an Ava...

...and an Ava loves an Ozzie.

Tonight at dinner, during 'good day - bad day' {our family dinner talk}
Ozzie kept telling everyone...
"I go to Ava's house today"

and his brothers kept saying
NO you didn't...
but they didn't know that he DID go to Ava's house today...
in his imagination.

He got his KEYS
hopped into his imaginary car
and off he went to AVA'S house

...they had hummus and cucumber
played with Ava's keys
hid in Ava's house
and gave Shelly hugs.

It may sound silly to say...
but sometimes I think maybe just maybe
Ozzie and Ava were made for each other.

It could just be that they were walking side-by-side from the very beginning...
inside their mommies bellies
or that they were born 11 days apart
and have always known each other.

I used to joke that Ozzie and Ava together is what twins would be like.

Anyway....
Ozzie and I sat down and the computer to find some pictures of Ava tonight.
And look what I found!
I almost forgot I had these ADORABLE photos of them before we left town.

{just LOOK at these two!}

{oh the young love}

  5. My 4 year old little girl's best friends moved 2 1/2 hours away. She constantly says she wants them to come to her house and doesn't understand the distance.

    Their Mommy and I both downloaded Skype on our laptops and arranged a day for them to Skype with each other. No they didn't have any kind of meaningful chat....but they certainly LOVED being able to wave at each other and make silly faces into the computer.

    Just a thought for ya....... :-)

  13. Oh that just melts my heart! How adorable are they.

    My best friend and I have the same running joke about her oldest daughter and my oldest son. They were born exactly 3 months a part almost to the hour (she was born 12/9/04 @ 3:57pm and he was born 3/9/05 @ 2:51pm). They love each other and it is like they knew each other before we knew them.

  14. I believe that they might be made for each other. There is a little guy that I think Jericho was made for. Guess we'll just have wait and see.

  18. So sweet! I have an Ava too:)

    My 3 year old Chloe came to me last night telling me she was scared of our house. I told her Jesus puts angels around us to protect us and there was nothing to be scared of. She comes back to me a few minutes later cradling her Care Bear, looking somber. I asked her what was wrong and she answered that Care Bear was scared....of the angels!
