BLUE...

What's that look like... blue eyes you say... well YES I think they are going to be blue {both of the girls}. Yeah! Now Grayson won't be the ONLY blue eyed one in the family. Ahhh... I have an idea! I should take a picture of everyone's eyes and compare. Who thinks I'll get that done anytime soon. Ha! It's a good idea though! :)

What's your family 'eye' mix up? All the same color, all different, half and half. We're {of the kids} 3 brown and now 3 blue.

  2. I voted ages ago.

I have 2 sons Seth- my oldest has green eyes and Joshua - my middle child has blue eyes, We'll have to wait and see what baby number 3 will have. Maybe brown. Then we've covered the full colour spectrum in our family.

  3. All of my boys have blue eyes. According to genetics we won't have any other color because both my husband and I have blue.

:( I'd love a brown eyed baby, but I guess it's not to be. :P

  4. We are an entirely brown hair blue eyed clan, my boys both have striking blue eyes....I can't get over the color!!

  5. Both of my boys have blue or blueish-gray. Not from me - my whole family has brown eyes!

  6. My eyes are hazel, but more green than any other color, and Damon's are brown. All my girls had/have very blue eyes as infants, but Abby's changed to a green. Hers are much lighter than mine, though. First, they lightened, then they turned green over time. She was about 2.5 when they finally changed from blue to green. She has my weird ring of orange/brown/yellow around the pupil, though. For now, both babies have very blue eyes, so we'll see what they end up with.

  7. We have all blue. In fact all of our extended family on both sides have blue eyes too

  8. Currently we are:
    Daddy - peanut butter brown
    Mommy - bright blue
Oceana - mossy green, hazel (apparently Daddy's grandfather's eyes)
Joshua - had dark blue newborn eyes (so did Oceana)
I'm really curious to see if this little girl takes after Mommy, Daddy, or her sister and great-grandfather!

  9. Mommy has brown eyes.
    Daddy has blue.
    And Addy has blue.

    You have beautiful children.

  10. Mom, Dad, Carsen and Caleb have hazel eyes and Curtis's eyes are ice blue. All of my boys have very long eyelashes, too.

    Your children are beautiful.

  11. Well we are all different...there are only 3 of us...josh is brown...I am brown green and Ethan is brown blue....weird huh?

  12. Out of our eight birth children, one has blue eyes, the other seven brown! I have brown, and my husband blue.

  13. I just voted :) And I have 2 blue eyed boys and one brown eyed boy- which Im pretty sure is a fluke since the only one who had brown eyes was his one grandfather who passed away 2 years ago- so he'll carry his eyes on I guess since out of 7 grandkids they all have blue eyes except him!

  14. 3 of my boy have brown eyes, one has beautiful green eyes (from my mother), one of the twin girls has brown, and the other blue/green (were more blue, and very blue up until a couple of months ago, now seem more half and half, but they change with the light)

  15. I voted!

Everyone in this house has super-blue eyes except me. Mine are technically hazel, but end up looking more gray most of the time in photos. Blah. I'm glad the kids ended up favoring Daddy in that regard.

  16. Voted too. =)

Momma green, Papa blue, Bugga blue. ;) I held on to hope of my green-eyed baby clear til 6 months (I've read eye color is not fully determined til sometimes 6-9 months). Blue is beautiful too though of course!

I was the only green-eyed in my family...and the only left-handed, and the only red-head. Hmmm...where DID I come from?!

  17. I pray you guys win! :)

Both of my boys have hazel eyes. I have hazel eyes. Daddy has blue. I pray to have a blue eyed baby someday! :)

  18. We're all brown in our house, but I'm one of five children and there was three blues, three browns and one green-eyed out of the whole family. Your baby girls look like you (I think) from the pictures of you on here. Lucky them! :)

  19. That's neat that you have half and half. All three of my boys have the exact same blue eyes. They all have the same shade of blue as I do and my husband has green. They all look more like him but they got my eyes!

  20. So far, Daddy, Mommy and all four boys have blue eyes. We'll have to wait to see what Baby #5 is! But to make it interesting, no one has the same shade of blue...we range from very pale almost translucent blue to dark almost navy blue. It's fun! :)

Oh, and all of my boys have to-die-for lashes!!

  21. Both of my sets of twins have blue eyes. One of my older boys has hazel and one has brown.

  22. I'd vote 111 more times if I could! C'mon, people! Show this family some bloggie love! That money sure would be useful...you know, with the addiction to cute tights and all! :-)

  23. Wow, things have really evened out with the eye colors in your family!

My husband has beautiful caramel chocolate brown eyes that are almost green and gold in bright light, and his Dad had green and his Mom has brown, so I think he's got a recessive blue/green gene, and I have green, so we'll probably have a mix someday...some brown, some green. We both have siblings with blue, so you never know!

    I don't have a thing for eyes at all, do I. ;)

  24. You can still win!!!

I have hazel eyes, my husband's are blue. Our kids have hazel, green, and blue. :)

  25. All 3 of us have blue eyes- the dog's are brown though :)

  28. I have a set of twins and they're so incredibly opposite, one has black hair and blue eyes, the other has brown (used to be blonde) hair and brown eyes, DH has brown/green and I have hazel! So no one in my family has the same eye color!

  29. We have 2 brown eyed kids and a blue eyed...and me and hubby are both green. :)

  30. My husband has gorgeous blue eyes and so do both of our kids! Anna is my blonde-haired, blue-eyed cutie, Jacob is my strawberry-blonde (from my aunt!), blue-eyed stinker:) My eyes are brown or hazel (depending on what color clothes I'm wearing). I told him we have to have at least one more kid b/c I want my brown-eyed baby! :)

  31. We have (including mommy and daddy) 3 blue and 3 brown. My husband and I are different, then our boys look exactly alike, except their eye color, one blue and one brown. Then the funny thing, our twins (boy/girl fraternal) are one blue and one brown....funniest part, they are adopted! God knows exactly how to put children into families!

  32. So cute.
My brother and sister and I all have blue eyes like our father. My mom is the lonely one with the green/hazel eyes.

  33. My dad has blue eyes & all of us kids do as well (five total). My mom has hazel-green. My hubby has a brownish hazel. Of our three boys, my two oldest have daddy's eyes & my youngest has my blue eyes. I was thrilled! Oh & my middle son had blue eyes up until he was over two years old before they changed. I was just going through photos of him at about that age & was shocked to see them.

  34. My husband and I have very blue eyes, and our baby boy has very brown/black eyes. He's very dark skinned, so that's to be expected. They say you can't tell the color for sure until they're older, but my dad's been having fun telling everyone he predicted they'd be brown :)

Baby girl due in less than three weeks will have brown too, just like her big (full biological!) brother.

  40. We have 4 beautiful kids- 2 from my husband's previous marriage, one from mine, and two together- one of whom has not made his/her entrance yet.

Our entire family is blue eyed, except for my sweet 4 year old who has georgeous brown eyes, and well- our bean is due to arrive in July: will let you know:)

  41. Whoops.... I mean 5 beautiful children! I am not used to adding in the newest of our blessings yet...:)

  42. It's actually very funny. I have two boys, ages almost 5 and almost 3, and a four month old girl.
My oldest son was the only blue-eyed person in our family. Everyone else has brown, and that really disturbed him. He felt out of place. So when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby, I was really hoping she'd have blue eyes, for my son's sake.
And she did! She has bright, clear blue eyes. I knew right from birth that they'd stay blue(something I couldn't be sure of with my blue-eyed son till he was 6 months old.)
He is so happy- absolutely thrilled! He mentions it almost every day- that finally someone in the family has blue eyes like him! :D
