Winner and loser

Ahhh... did I take long enough to pick a winner or what!?!

There were so many cute ones and it seriously took me almost an hour to pick one. But I did... and it fits the pictures perfectly.

::WINNER::
"what love taste like" by Not the Norm

The LOVE oh the love they share... it's so awesome and this title fits just perfectly!

::Runner UP::
"I know I smelled milk somewhere. Now, where is it?" by Kelly

simply adorable... and i'm sure they DID smell milk on each other {grin}

::made me giggle::
"Get in my belly" by Jessie

oh my, i couldn't get this one out of my head... it's so silly it's great!

::honorable mention::
"Symmetrical Perfection!" by Carrie
I love this one, I'm going to have to take pictures just to use this title!

"So, that's what I look like, and smell like, and taste like!" by Faith Hope Love Mama
I love pondering what the girls are thinking when they look at each other... do they know it's their sister or do they think it's them?

"Hey, I know you" by ashleykimble
same thoughts... Hmmmm... pondering more...

"Is that milk breath I smell?" by 4under3
ahhh... milk... that is all they think about. {grin}

So thank you thank you! You guys ROCK and I had so much fun reading all of your 'entries'. I might just have to do this again!

and now for the LOSER

........ me

::disclosure::
it's long and boring and a whole lot of whining...

Seriously I know I'm not a loser but I feel like I'm losing it sometimes... and it's not the boys or the twins... it's everything else. It's just been one thing after another.

.Paul lost his job in June, 2 days after I was put on bedrest
..we were told that they would keep our insurance going through the birth of the babies, but after the babies were born we were told that our insurance had be retro-cancled back to June. I used healthy start for the babies and the hospital but my OB is not covered so we own her a ton of money now.
... then all that's gone on with the accident, the pain emotionally and physically and the STRESS of dealing with all the details
.... last week I actually started to feel a little normal, like life was settling back into stride and although I was still unable to do so much I was slowly making my way back, then I got
.....SICK! I know I just talked about how we don't go to the pedi because we don't need to that often, well, we did go this week. Gavin had his physical and we ALL {with the exception of the girls} were sick so I asked the dr. if he would see everyone since we were going to be there anyway. We have viral bronchitis... and everyone is mending quite nicely with a little bit of echinacia, silver, calcium lactate, tea and honey
......BUT ME... not so much. I can not cough hard enough, nor do I want to, to clean my throat and lungs. It' s just there... I am coughing but it's not deep enough to do it's job. It just hurts my chest more and more. And now it burns... non stop again. UGGGGG!

So blah! I'm just worn out from 'crap' happening. I know it could be A LOT worse but i'm just ready to get back to a life without {so many} stresses. Now that I've vented it will all be better tomorrow... right... right!!! {grin}

I can remember the stress i had when the twins were months old and not because of only them but it just seemed like everything stressful happenibg at once! Things are better.. still stressful but in a different way..a good way! Keep your head up and just look at ALL of your PRECIOUS children and be thanful that with everything else that is going on at least they are healthy and happy! I love checking your blog daily!!

  3. Awe, a woman after my own heart - I had me a little pity party at my place earlier.

    It is definitely no fun when you feel like things continually come at you. I HAVE to remind myself that 'things could always be worse' and 'someone else has it worse' - to keep the Xanex intake down!

  4. Oh I'm so sorry you are feeling bad :(
    Never feel bad for talking about negative or not-so-happy things on here..thats what we are here for!!

    Love the captions!!

  5. That title does fit perfectly! Great job to the winner!

    What a stinky thing for your insurance to do!! That makes life so difficult when you have the stress of a huge bill. God is able, even when it feels like it all too much.

    I am really glad you are on the mend. I was feeling for ya when I read that you guys had been sick. Isn't amazing how our bodies can heal themselves so quickly with the help of herbs and the like.

    Hope tomorrow is indeed MUCH better.

We went through something kinda like that with the insurance although there is a whole divinsion set up at every insurance company just to help out people who have been done wrong by the company I battle with phone calls letters and the like for 5 months for a $55,000 surgical bill they paid it and I leaned alot about appealing thoes type of things they company told me if you were told you would be covered to a certain date then our bills would be paid until that date it just took a few phone calls if you are interested send me an e-mail. If not I understand but I will pray for you guys

  8. Blah is right! That stinks.
    Hope you feel better SOON!
    What can you do if you can't cough to loosen things? Sounds painful.

  9. Those captions were great! Brittany, it's perfectly OK for you to whine sometimes. My goodness girl, you have just a few trials since the day of the babies' births. Take it easy on yourself. I can only imagine how sore you still are. Know I am praying for you to heal. Thank you for writing this post. I was going to comment and ask how you were doing physically! You answered my questions! Have a good night! :p

  12. I'm so sorry about hubby's job. We've been there (lay off) and I must say it must be so incredibly difficult having the accident and the birth and all that ensues after trauma and trying to be a wife and momma. I'll be praying for you. Wish I was closer so I could actually do something more.
    Can't believe I got honorable mention. I'm usually not good at captions but I wonder what they are thinking also. How fun that would be to be in their minds. Hope you have a good weekend. Blessings. :)

  13. Everyone deserves a little time to vent ! If I were you I would be fuming over the whole insurance issue. It is true though that when it rains it pours and hopefully before you know it you'll be healthy and back to the old you :) We've been dealing with sick kids here which is no fun - and Im not even sick yet ... I say yet because at supper I got a nice face full of spit when my sick 3 year old didnt cover his mouth to cough. You have got to love them : ) And I LOVE the winner you chose. its perfect.

  14. Cute titles for the pictures. I can never come up with anything clever like that.
    Sorry to hear things are rough at this point. My husband lost his job in July and man has it been tough. He is working but our income took a major drop so it is literally just getting by. I think the hardest thing is that I see him so unhappy with this temporary position while he waits for the "right" job. Being a man is hard when you are the sole provider for a household. BUT I truly believe that the Lord will provide. So continue to be a faithful servant to the Lord and be the best wife and mommy you can be...eventually it will work out. Venting feels good and that is the first time I have written about our hardships...I feel better having shared that. Thanks for the "hard times" therapy session. Grin. Your family will be in my prayers.

  15. I'm glad I was able to make you giggle! Sounds like you need a good laugh. But that might hurt too. Praying you all are feeling better soon!

  16. Right!

    Just like me, tomorrow will be a better day.

    I am truly sorry for all this stuff going on...I can't imagine how hard it must be on everyone. But MOMMA always bears the brunt.

    I will pray things return to a 'relative' normal :-) soon!

    Love all the captions, too!

  17. Keep you head up girl the Lord is in control and He knows what you need even before you ask.

    Matthew 6:25-34 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
    For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
    "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

  20. I love the titles :)

    I do hope tomorrow is a much better one for you. Things will start looking up. I know it must be so difficult right now, but God is right in the middle of this trial and he knows the big picture.

    Praying for you.

  21. woohoo. I came in 2nd. Shocking too. Since I didn't think it was that cute but they sure are.

    I pray everything turns out in your favor with the accident and that Paul is able to find the perfet job.

    Blessings!

  22. I hope you're feeling better soon! I also hope things start to get better on the homefront. It' hard enough having twins, but dealing with all of the other stuff is just too much sometimes! Hang in there!

    And as for what the girls will think of each other... My twin girls are 2 and for a long time they would look in the mirror and say their sister's name-they thought they were looking at their twin. If they looked at pictures they would always think it was their sister. But just recently (within the last 2 months) they've started to identify each other in pictures. And they are better at telling who is who than I am sometimes! It's hilarious!

  23. Great captions! And I hope you feel better soon, physically and health wise too. I know after my c-section I couldn't cough very hard either and it was so frustrating.
