12 AM giggles...

it's becoming the norm... not the 12 AM part but the giggles.

It was late, I was tired, but I didn't make it to bed before the girls woke up to eat again. I brought them downstairs so I could rock in the comfy chair {that was supposed to go upstairs but doesn't fit up the stairs, i love old homes}. I was sitting there feeding them both, listening to their soft little noises and soaking up each inch of their beauty and then it hit me. The giggles... are you serious... twins... girls... ours... here... healthy... beautiful... God is so great! The giggles started small and quiet and then turned into a full blown laugh. My chest was burning but I couldn't stop, the giggles turned into tears... tears of joy. How did we become so blessed? Why us? I didn't know if we would ever have ONE girl and now we have TWO. God knew the desires of my heart and he blessed me... times two.

though they hurt I am enjoying the giggles... laughing heals right?!! {grin}

    Your twins are lovely! I would lke to see them with pink hats, flowers, or something more girly ;)

    I am sorry to read that Paul lost his Job. Is he working already? I hope he is. if not, you should get help from the goverment for the kids.

    Do you think you could give us some tips on what you've learned taking photo's of your girls. I was at a friends house today taking photo's of her newborn son and they all flopped. I'm going back on Friday so I hope to take better photos.

  32. How wonderful to have the girls and all the emotions that they bring :) I'm wondering if you can put a dollar bill or something next to the girls just so we can gauge their size. I'm sure they are still little but it's hard to tell in pictures. I noticed this with my children too. "I thought they were so small but they look big in this picture"... Just a thought... I'm not sure how you do it with 4 boys - I only have one, whew! - but you seem to manage well and I'm inspired by your blog :) God bless you and yours!

  33. It is sometimes commpletly unreal isn't it? Like you must be dreaming or something. I think that with my twins all the time, especially when they were tiny like that. It is so amanzing how God can bless you in such abundance sometimes!

  37. Brittany, chin up! I mean it. God is the lifter of our heads. It's harder to think negative thoughts while looking up. Try it!

    You've been dealt a bad hand lately. I'm really sorry. But I bet with one look at those little miracles, it's all worth it.

  39. OK--just going through your old posts here and this brought tears to my eyes! I miss our lil' twin girlies being so little--they are 2 1/2 yrs. old now, and I miss the tandem nursings, etc., even though I hardly slept for months. Oh, now I need to go look at some pics of them when they were little! :-) elireeves at stny dot rr dot com
