  2. I love, love your blog and your children are so adorable! I always find really cute tights at Children's place. They have bright, polka-dotted adorable clothes! Happy shopping! Is is just me or are little girls so much more fun to shop for? Maybe it's all the extra accessories that are available!

  3. We love BabyLegs and Robeez or the Target brand for shoes. :)

  4. I have yet to own any, but I've heard great things about babylegz and they look really cute too.

  5. Children's Place!!!!! I love their clothes and they are a great price! I have found cute tights at Target and Carters too.

  6. Hey Brittany! As a mama of twin girls...I love target...they sell Babylegz....love them! And I love childrens place too(I have an extra coupon if you want to shop online) I also love to shop Ebay, mainly for brands that I love that I cannot afford like Sweet Potatoes, le top, & Pumpkin Patch is soooo dorbale and funky...also Baby Lulu, Beetlejuice is crazy funky...I am a huge bargin hunter, especially since they grow soo fast, and spit up/poop on everything!! Hope this helps!

  7. I agree with Lori... The Children's Place has GREAT tights; although I'm not too sure how small they make them.

Have fun dressing those little ladies...I know I had a blast, after 3 boys, dressing my daughter!!

Sorry, can't help with girlie clothes - I have a boy and he wears all his cousin's hand-me-downs.

  9. HANDS DOWN! Pedipeds for soft-soled shoes. I haven't found anything better. You must check them out!!! And they girl's patterns are JUST. TOO. CUTE.

I have also recently discovered the Robeez MINI SHOES. I just got some for my 6 mo old daughter and they are great. (Pedipeds still ROCK)

I do have to say that Children's Place has some great soft-soled shoes at a great price. I had to snatch up some of those, too...

  10. Children's Place has funky stuff and usually it goes on sale pretty quick, plus they send out coupons for entire purchaes too. LOVE LOVE LOVE Pumpkin Patch but I can't find it anymore now that Macy's took over. I'm a big bargain hunter...so I normally only buy clearance things and have found cute tights at Target, Hannah Anderson Outlet, and Gap. Love the susie Knits hats too..my daughters each have one and we're ordering another hat each and one for our son for this winter.

  11. Babylegs are great! I can't wait for my girls to grow into them. I've already bought them pairs!

I LOVE Target for baby clothes. They have really cute pants and tops for $4 each.

Hannah Andersson (I think I spelled it right) is a terrific place to buy colorful dresses and leggings, but it's pricey. I have a friend who swears by the clothes and says they last forever. I believe everything is cotton (no fake fibers) too. Free shipping on orders over $125 and I guess they're having a big sale too.

  12. My suggestion would be ebay! You can always find good deals on new stuff there! Besides that though...Children's place, Old Navy, Baby Gap.
Pediped's and Robeez are just adorable, but not as cheap as some places.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I agree...I really like Children's Place for their tights. And I'm a big fan of Robeez. Lots of fun designs and they stay on. My little girl has tiny feet & ankles and they work great. You can find lots of them on ebay. Happy Shopping :)

  14. for shoes go to www.tomsshoes.com
the shoes look a little different but they are the coolest and SOOOOOOOOOOO comfortable!

they have a great cause too:

for every pair you purchase they company donates a pair of shoes to a child in Africa that has never had any....

    have fun :)

  15. My sisters and I own a childrens clothing store...We carry (and everyone loves) Baby Legs and the best shoe, hands down is PediPeds. I think they will still be too big for the girls though. We also carry a brand called Zutano that makes cute hats and booties (outfits too!) that would fit the girls. Let me know if you want more info!
I can ship it to you.

  16. I love pedipeds and am always jealous of the cute girly ones they have (i just have a boy) and my little sister wear a lot of really cute tights from Gymboree...not sure how small they go but they make some CUTE ones!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Have to agree on the Zutano and the Gymboree tights..Zutano has great clothes...both are spendy but if you are a good shopper you can find deals, sales..etc.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Def The Children's Place, Babies R Us ,Target, Sears, and KMart. Carter's at WalMart and Burlington Coat Factory ( if you have one near you).
Baby Gap and Gymboree have cute things but I only buy their clearance. HTH :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Have you looked at etsy.com....that is totally my new favorite place. I love homemade things and love supporting moms at home. Just do a search for winter hats, or leggings. They have the cutest modern clothes too.....

    ReplyDelete
  20. I just bought some adorable tights for my seven month old daughter at CARTERS OUTLET. If you have one nearby I would check it out! Only $7 a pair!!! I thought it was a great deal...If you go to my blog you can actually see her in them. :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. For super cool tights and coordinating outfits- Oilily. Ebay has good prices as they are pretty pricey from the website.
Hugs, Lori (mama to 3 girls and a baby boy)

    ReplyDelete
  22. My favorite for girl clothes is Hanna Andersen. A little pricey until they go on sale, but you just can't wear them out, and they're completely adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't know if anyone else mentioned this yet - I found some cotton tights at The Children's Place for Ella. Pink and Purple polka dot (differebt pairs) for $6 each! I'm not sure what they have for winter....
Plus search for coupon codes online you can usually find one for an additional 15% off everything!

Old Navy had some cute patterned tights for the fall season not sure about now, but they are $7 I think.

I know, I love the funky tights and my favorites are $26+ but I'll NEVER spend that much for tights! Even on eBay they went for just a bit less for used. Do you know what brand I'm talking about? : )

    Hats - etsy!

    Soft soled shoes - etsy!

    Good luck and have FUN!!

  24. i LOVE children's place, and can't say enough about robeez shoes--i used them with both of my kiddos...machine washable, soft leather shoes---can't beat 'em. and i know for sure that target offers a "knock off" of robeez and the pedipeds. for our second we bought a pair of the target "robeez", just to try them out and see if they were as good/nice...and they stood the test of an "all boy all the time" kind of boy! :) happy shopping!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. ah! i take great joy in dressing my little ones! target has excellent patterned tights and soft soled shoes on the cheap
(tights ex. http://talesfromwonderland.blogspot.com/2008/10/rainbow-bright.html ) and children's place also keeps their tights affordable.
Both stores supply brightly colored inexpensive clothes but my fav. is scoring better quality clothes off of ebay from gymboree or oilily.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Check out ETSY. The children's knit hats are so adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I have a boy, so I can't help with the clothes. The shoes I can help with... http://www.babysoftshoes.com/
The person who runs the sites name is Destri. The most she charges is $10 per pair. She makes them as they are ordered and stands behind her product. They are ALL my son wears!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I've not no earth shattering news here. It seems most of us are saying the same thing.

I'll ditto that I love TCP's tights because they are colorful and affordable.

    And,

I love shopping ebay for gymboree. They are great quality so even when you buy used, they still have a lot of wear left in them.

Oh, and I love Gap's bear bottom tights too.

    Tiff

p.s. I'm going to go try etsy for tights now that so many people suggested it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. hanna andersson has really cute tights/skirts/shoes. tons of fun patterns to mix and match. it's pricey though. you're a thrifter thought, right? i've found numerous hanna items at thrift or consignment stores. also, like others said, target has a good selection. gap has very cute 'bear bottom' tights. i too love robeez (target generic brand work just as well and are much cheaper) they are soft and don't fall off. good luck. i'm a sucker for girls clothes. fun!

  30. i just had a baby boy in May and he is our last. i always wanted to buy BabyLegs for my 2 year old daughter but never did. So i'm trying to buy all the things for Shep that I didn't with the others. ANYWAY... all that to say I just bought several pairs of Baby Legs for him and I love them. And the girls designs are just adorable. I also love Robeez shoes. GG had several pairs and they were great. She was mostly barefoot so when she started wearing shoes, they worked out very well.
Happy shopping! Your girls are precious!

    ReplyDelete
  31. www.Hannaanderson.com
    That is my ABSOLUTE favorite!!!!
Your little ones will be wearing size 50cm for the whole winter :)
they have GORGEOUS things and such bright colors.

Another favorite of mine are Marese. It's a French brand of clothing that you will find in boutique shops. (although I get mine on ebay)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Zutano and Hanna Anderson...both not cheap, but you can check ebay for good deals!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love babylegs, pedipeds, Walmart (I know crazy but they have some very very cute tights at the one by me), Children's place, and Squeak Shoes!

    :)

  34. Walmart and Target for inexpensive and fun tights. But pay the money for Robeez shoes. They are high quality soft leather, they wash up well and babies and kids can't take them off! Your family pics are fantastic!

    www.littlemissmatched.com

    Funky, indeed!

  37. My girls hated itchy stuff and were pretty much exclusive Hanna Andersson until around age 5--they last forever (they still wear the underwear but that's way later for you!); I just gave away a big bag of tights and dresses or I'd offer you some. I'll comment again if I can find any more ;)

Hanna is pricey but lots of sales--the playdresses are the best! (My 7 year old still lives in those!)

    ReplyDelete
  38. I didn't read all the comments, but the few I saw gave some great suggestions! Do you have an outlet mall anywhere near you? If you can find a Children's Place Outlet, you can get tons of stuff for CHEAP! I'm talking $1.99 pants and tights!

    ReplyDelete
  39. baby legs will give you great versitility instead of "tights"...but I haven't found any tights that are fun for that age when tulip was teeny. as for hats...i'd love to crochet you something colorful...they are fairly easy and quick. email me their head measurements and i'll make them a little larger and what colors you'd like to see...and how heavy you want them...and if you'd like hats or bonnets...or if there's a style particularly you love.

even if you find something you like to buy...i'd love to do these for the girls...love to crochet hats & bonnets!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ha! I can't help you there! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Gymboree! They have 'gym bucks' and if you can find an outlet store it is the best.

    Have fun!

    ReplyDelete
  42. We do Babylegs instead of tights. Love 'em!

Preschoolians has an awesome twins discount (40%) and has really cute soft sole shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I've bought Baby legs for my twins....as they recently had a two for one offer...can't beat that!! our weather may not get as cold as yours...so we don't really need shoes!!

    Susan :):)

  44. So, I don't have a girl, but Hanna Andersson has some really cute girl stuff, check ebay though, they aren't cheap!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Target. Good price and super cute (although now that I'm typing this, it seems that they never seemed to have many infant sized clothes...more 12 months & up selection. hmmmm.) Maybe my suggestion isn't worth much for now!! ha

    ReplyDelete
  46. Brittany,
Do you have a twin baby sling yet? Please let me know. I'm pretty sure I have one, along with the video on how to use it. When were your girls born? Just from the bit I read on your blog it sounds like you had a section. Can't imagine you having one, unless medically necessary.
And yes, if your girls had 1 placenta & 1 chorion then they are identical. (I had 2 placentas & 1 chorion & mine are identical)
You can e-mail me @ geisme777ATyahooDOTcom. Just put twins in the subject line so I don't think it's spam.

  47. totally the childrens place.. they have great girls clothes and they aren't to bad om prices... your girls are adorable.. you are a very blessed women..

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gymboree has the BRIGHTEST, not always the cutest, and seldom the most reasonable....but VERY bright. I live in Old Navy and love Carter's.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hanna Andersson has THE CUTEST EVER. EVER. girl clothes (I have boys, but I dream!) and most of her cotton is organic. she is a swiss company. online shop!! and the most fun bright prints and adorable tights!!!! they are a bit pricey, but when i say they last, i mean somehow you can wear things season after season and it magically still fits and looks great!
soft soled shoes? definitely preschoolians. also online. not a lot of people have heard of those shoes...it is an east coast company..and i like garnet hill for kids, mini boden, janie and jack and jacadi

    I love your blog!!!!

  50. I got cute "capri" length solid color leggings at wal-mart. (I know I hate it too, but sometimes I am there) They are garanimal brand and I think they are $3.50 have the little lace trim at the bottom and fit great!! And of course I don't think I need to say children's plc because everyone else always has. I will have to admit I love gymboree now. I used to think it was just too expensive, but if you buy the sale and clearance and then get a coupon it's not sooo bad. Ha! Then you get gymbucks which works out pretty well. I really don't think their cotton quality is quite as good as gap but they have lots of cute stuff:) Also, I think you may be receiving some hats soon:) What size are the girls wearing? 0-3 mo still? I got them some 3-6 mo. I hope you like. I want to see pics:) Oh yeah good luck with the shoe thing. Not working out so well for me. I am gonna have to chk out some of the recommendations you got. I don't know if you guys have Jack and Jill sales or mothers of multiple sales but we have tons down here and they are FANTASTIC for buying and selling. Mom and I almost went to the multiples for you, but didn't know what you needed. We will let you know when it comes around again. I don't know why the midwest hasn't figured this out yet, but supposedly www.jbf.com is all over and was featured on good morning america.

  51. So - she doesn't have tights or shoes, but she has some really cute blankets and tops. Check out The Rocking Pony. She has a shop on Etsy. Her stuff is hand-made, inexpensive, and adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The tights from Gymboree and Oilily are super cute. Lots on Ebay!! Also have you checked out babylegs?

My favorite soft soled shoes are the infant Pedipeds, (you probably know about those, cause I've seen pics of your boys in them) but Robeez has also come out with a new line for infants recently. I've also seen some really cute handmade shoes on Etsy.com - lots of sweet styles for girls on there! They remind me of your style too.

I also love clothes by Hannah Andersson - I get them off Ebay. Nice thing about them is they use safe dyes and a lot of organic cotton, so it's gentler next to baby's skin.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oink Baby is another fav...again not sold anymore now that macy's took over..darn macy's all my fav's are gone..but I have seen them on ebay.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Sorry my above post went funky... anyways, I know lots of people have mentioned Pedipeds already... I know they have a few select styles in the Newborn size (actually I just looked again and there was one style I found, the white patent ballet style shoe), so chances are those would fit your girls before any other kind. Just FYI. :) They are just the cutest I think. Also Robeez booties for the winter. SO CUTE!! :)

  57. I'm not sure if its possible to get them in America or not, as it's a brand form here (New Zealand.) But Bobux (www.bobux.com), make adorable, very very practical soft shoes, which are great from newborn right up to children. Check them out, they are soft leather, and gorgeous! I hope you can buy them there...

  58. PEDIPEDS - soft-soled shoes - hands down! - but do they really need shoes yet??

ZUTANO - adorable funky clothes! - the best - all the pants and shirts swap out to match various outfits - so cute and not too expensive.

PUMPKIN PATCH - the same -

HANNA ANDERSSON - gorgeous - but expensive.

for cheap - TARGET has great bargains - $4 -$6 for matching outfits!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Well, my very favorites are Tea Collection (pricey!) and the new Zutano collection. BUT I have found that Circo at Target is sooooooo cute and soooooo incredibly cheap! Awesome!

  61. I don't have any girly clothing favorites, yet, but I got some good sites to check out from your comments. :) Thanks.

RYC: The boys necklaces are amber teething necklaces. Amber is a natural pain reliever and inflammation reducer. Plus, they look super cute! :) My youngest was the first to benefit for actual teething pain, but they seem to have helped with my eldest's growing pains as well. I purchased mine from a website here in the UK, but when I need to buy another I would get it from here..

The prices are a bit better then what I paid.

  62. I suggest browsing Etsy.com. Everything is handmade and it's great to support indie designers!

There are some adorable baby things on there though!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Found another brand of tights - Country Kids. Some of their patterns are similar to oiliy...

    12 ish dollars

    ReplyDelete
  64. I dont have a certain brand, but I LOVE Marshals and TJMAxx for Girls stuff... always a bit funky without the crazy price (clothes, shoes, accessories.)If I dont buy them second hand they are almost ALWAYS from here!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Can't argue with the rest of the group - The Children's Place is great for bright and funky and has great tights. I have three girls that I currently shop for there. They love to see me come through the door. :) Ha!

If you have outlet malls, sometimes they have Children's Place outlets and you can get stuff for DIRT CHEAP!

I love Robeez soft soles, but Target has some knock offs that are half the price and just as cute (12.99 as opposed to $26) Babies R Us also has some cute soft soles.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I make my own babyleggs out of womens socks. There is a great tutorial at Flickr ( www.flickr.com/photos/babyhopes/237396880 ) They are great for keeping legs warm, quite diaper changes, and are super inexpensive. Target usually has lots of great prints for socks to use.

Good Luck! You're a lucky duck getting to dress twin girls. I always wanted twin girls, so I pretend dress my 2 middle girls alike often. LORIE
