giggly girlies sleeping peacefully in their big girl bed

boys cuddled under their covers drifting to sleep

it's my time to absorb the peace surrounding me

soaking up the stillness, the quietness, the calmness of the night

letting the fast pace of the day fade away

grinning at the almost forgotten moments of the day

thanking God for our abundant blessings

asking for his forgiveness for my impatience & selfishness

praying for another day

another day to live, to love, to laugh

another day to learn, to grow, to have faith

a sweet reprieve to fill me up for another day

whatever it may hold
