this makes me happy

I’m such a kid!

“A SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION OF SNOW... POSSIBLY IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES...MAY OCCUR ACROSS THE WATCH AREA. HOWEVER... THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH EXACT AMOUNTS.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW... SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.”

Do you wish for piles of snow too??

  4. I do wish for snow in December and it's nice to have for my January birthday, but after that...I'm ready for Spring.

We've been spoiled the last couple of years with lots of snow. Last year PapaBear plowed so it made it difficult to plan anything. This year we have to rent skis and snowshoes when there's enough snow....but it's WAY better than plowing.

Here's hoping you get dumped on!!!!

  13. I sure do....we haven't had ANY deep stuff this year at all, and we promised the boys snowmen! I don't know what we're gonna do if we don't get some soon, 'cause they're going stir-crazy!

Thankfully, it is only Jan. and it snows well into March here!

  18. Ha! You gotta be kidding me. Where I live we're wishing the snow would stop! It's been snowy and really cold up here in Canada this year.

  19. YES!!! I live in South-central Kansas and it's been way too warm here for January! It was in the 60's yesterday, and we were walking in the park! It was nice, but I'm ready for some more S*N*O*W...so I can stay inside and snuggle my baby boy!

Hope you get your snow :)

  20. I LOVE snow but since the Army moved us away from home we've lived in CA, TX, and GA. So no snow here...

  21. NO! We get snow basically every day! Our winter is from October-April! Most of the time it comes in FEET when it's a big storm- and since my husband just deployed that means I'm responsible for all the shoveling!

So please enjoy it and keep it away from me for awhile!

  22. I can wish all I want, but alas, I'm in Texas and it's 73 degrees today so I'm afraid it just ain't gonna happen. I grew up in MI and I SO miss it sometimes. But only sometimes. :)

  23. Not a big snow fan here, but am trying to see the beauty in it! I look for lots of picture opportunities and that helps a LOT!!! :)
I think that is GREAT that people do like it, tho, and I am happy that it will bring you joy!!
    Cheers!

  24. Not at ALL! I have too much to do this weekend, for there to be this much snow. AH! Sorry- but I am praying something fierce that it's not as bad as they are saying. We are throwing Ash's going away party this weekend (she leaves for Grace College next weekend) and I will be SO crushed if we have to cancel it because of snow. sigh.

  25. YES!! I'm a teacher and I pray for snow days probably just as hard as the students..maybe harder sometimes! I live in southern IN so sometimes we get snow and other times we get spring. (Sometimes we get both in a day! They say if you don't like the weather, wait a few hours and it'll change!)
We haven't even gotten an inch yet this winter though where I am! We've had freezing rain which has given us a couple of delays, but I want a snow day!

  26. Um, wow! If you're a kid, I am too. Go look at my latest blog post! haha How strange is that? It sounds like we have almost the exact same forecast and I'm just as excited! I hope we BOTH get the snow we want!

  27. Oh I LOVE snow too! I am hoping for a blizzard soon. We are only suppose to get 1-2" with this system.

  28. I never wish for snow! Ack! I am OK driving in it. It's the other drivers I don't trust. Plus, it's too cold! BRRR! I live on the Pacific Ocean coast for a reason. It's not freezing cold here. Just windy.

  29. I would LOVE snow!! Our winter here in NC has been unusally warm this year! I wish we'd get some snow. Hope y'all do!!

  30. YAY for you! No snow for me. I'm happy a happy bee in the desert.

  31. I would if I don't have to drive in it. I like the idea of snow, however it seems it just makes everything more stressful when driving!

  32. I love the snow!! For the 1st time in years I'm taking my girls sledding tomorrow. My dearest is HAPPY! He has a seasonal job and snow means he can plow...he loves his plow, his toy! I miss living where it's warm but seeing my girlies and my dearest smile is priceless!

  33. I do not wish for snow. We have had several inches (over a foot) this year and it's stayed. I live in the snowy north and we've been cold for a while now. I love a White Christmas but now I'm ready for Spring. Unfortunately that won't happen for many more months. Oh well. Hope you have lots of fun in the snow. I know Shelly was wanting some also. Hope you get to build a snowman together. :)
