UGGGGGG! That's what it would cost to buy my most beautiful baby girls these 2 outfits, booties and blanket.
I'm drooling... I can just imagine how gosh darn cute they would be in these outfits...
But there's no WAY we'll be spending $290 on clothes... not right now at least. I actually have yet to buy the girls any clothes, i've returned a few things and exchanged so I've been able to pick a few things out. Everything is just so expensive and extra money we have NOT.
But I can dream and imagine how adorable the girls would be in these! {grin}
doesn't this look incredibly cozy and adorable!

and this blanket is possibly the coolest blanket i've seen... imagine the pictures I could do with this. Hee-hee!
You're making me wish for a girl (or two!) simply so that I can dress her up!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute, but being together as a family is cuter! We say "shop with your eyes!" in South Africa!
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute!!! However, I could NEVER justify spending that much for my girl since she would grow out of them so quickly! Even though I would want to because it is so dare adorable!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteSome of the other stores like Children's Place have adorable newborn and especially girls' clothers and they are MUCH cheaper. Your babies and all of your children are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them,
Tricia and Clan (N. Virginia)
Wow! That is a lot of money! It's a crime they are allowed to charge that much! They are super cute though.
ReplyDeleteHaving twin girls after 4 boys has not been good for our bank account. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've got almost all my girlies' clothing left, so if you're interested get in touch amearyo@yahoo.com

They are really cute. And Gap always goes on sale, so keep an eye out!

ReplyDeleteOh if i only had a girl...because my 2 boys world look pretty silly in all that pink lol!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Kelsey... I stumbled across your blog recently and just fell in love! Your family is so beautiful... what a blessing! And those girls... darling! :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, you could always just get the blanket?? :) That is one adorable blanket.
I wanna have a girl so I can dress her in these....absolutely adorable....
ReplyDeleteWow it does look great but way to $$$$
ReplyDeleteYou should check out Old Navy. They have some similar to that but not as expensive.
ReplyDeleteI have two girls and I LOVE Babygap. Their clothes aer VERY well made and wash EXTREMELY well with no fading/shrinkage. I will tell you from experience that dressing girls is MUCH more expensive than boys...and you have to dress two! Shop the sale racks at babygap and even online...you can find incredible deals on AWESOME clothes!
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about gap is that it usually goes on pretty good clearance. I would snuggle that blanket myself! And make a cool handbag out of it, if I knew how to sew.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is Christmas is a comin' and the extended family should be put on High Alert! lol! You may not be able to get everything, but dang, the little sweater romper alone would be SO adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously need a Baby Gap Outlet and Children's Place Outlet close by!
Hmmm, does that romper come in a 2T? You could just buy the other one of the one I want to buy...*grin*
ReplyDeletethose little girls would be cute in anything, so don't you worry!! i'm with one of the other girls who commented...maybe just splurge for the blankets...they go with a lot of things and will last you longer! hope you are feeling well!
ReplyDeletenew to your blog but loving every minute of it! i am so drooling too... my little girl is almost 4 months old and i know she would LOVE to have this outfit! the extra money we DON'T have here either though... i'll keep dreaming :(
ReplyDeleteJust check ebay in 6 months, they'll be there then . . buy for next winter!
ReplyDeleteYep...SUPER, DUPER cute! I hate when you find something you REALLY want and its just way too expensive. But if you can't live without these, or at least SOME of the items, I found a 25% off discount code for Gap on BabyCheapskate today.
ReplyDeleteIt's EXTRA25 good through 11/11.
nice hinting... you are ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a Hanna Andersson outlet near you by chance?? You could probably come up with cute similar style for cheap! TOO CUTE, yes! Ask Santa for them!
ReplyDeleteSteph
what a rude comment!! I highly doubt she's trying to hint, and even if she was isn't it the givers choice to buy something for them? Most of us don't even know her or have her address.
ReplyDeleteyou're ridiculous!!
Wow, don't you just love anonymous comments?? Geesh.
ReplyDeleteThose outfits are adorable!!!! Maybe you can get them to review through MamaSpeaks???
I didn't read all the comments above, Brittany, but I do love me some baby Gap clothes once in a while too. The good news is, their stuff usually goes on sale pretty fast.....if you just can't live without! :-)
ReplyDeleteI buy a lot of brand new/gently used clothing on eBay. It is a great way to recycle clothing...and not nearly as costly as shopping in the stores, even when you include shipping. I generally buy in large lots, and I haven't paid more than about $2.60 per article of clothing--and that included things like jeans and jackets. And, I've never been unhappy with a purchase I've made--just make sure to ask any questions to the seller before you decide to purchase, and ask for more pictures if you want, too! They have always been happy to oblige me, when I have asked.
I swear, everytime we go places, people comment on the stuff my kids are wearing! Little do they know that I actually got it at what I call "the world's largest garage sale!" (Did I mention that I love me garage sales, too? *grin)
I realize that with twins, and wanting to dress them alike, this may be more difficult...but you can buy twins items too! Just search out something like "Gap twins girl clothes 3 months" or something along that line (you'll get the idea of what to search for based on what comes up) and you might just be surprised at what you find!
Good luck friend--hope you are able to get what you would like! By the way--the girls are beautiful, boutique clothes or rags *giggle* !
I love Carter's and Old Navy. My son is 3 1/2 and finding cute clothes are hard to find. Clothing girls must be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! But that's only $10 off of what I spent for ALL of my boys' school clothes. I budgeted $300 and spent just about that. Why does it have to be so expensive? Sheesh! :o)
ReplyDeletewww.pleasemum.com has a big clearance right now, I got 37 SUPER CUTE items of clothing for our little girl, for about $140!!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable but $290 adorable-I don't know. I love the pic of the girls below with their cute little heads. Too cute!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Brittany!
ReplyDeleteI saw a similar look today at Target. Not that I have girls to shop for, but I had to walk through the baby section looking for boy's socks. Anyway, the little sweater dress was $16.99 and a hooded cardigan was $14.99. I didn't see booties or anything like that way cool blanket, but thought you might want to check out the little dress and sweater. Good luck! The girls are so cute! It must be so much fun to dress them up! Maybe I'll have twin girls next, too! (I have 4 boys already! :)
Nancy
I too am a great one for buying for my youngest boys from ebay...fashion at a fraction of the original price....you may not get them for this year but maybe next....and I especially liked the all in one....so colourful!
