... went to the chiropractor yesterday, i thought the appointment was today, good thing I listened to my messages yesterday ...
I've been having headaches lately and we think it's because I'm not drinking enough water or eating enough of what I 'should'
... it's hard you know, when you're holding 2 babies {grin}
My ribs and sternum are still healing
... all of the burning that I'm feeling in my chest is from the nerves reconnecting & occasionally 'ripping'
I'm allowed to WEAR my babies now!
... still no lifting... no laundry baskets, car seats, picking Ozzie up, ect. But I can hold weight close to my body. Which is why I can now carry the babies in the sling or even hold Ozzie if someone gives him to me or such.
I'm allowed to drive but still in moderation... it's holding out my arms that can cause problems so I need to limit that. So no vacuuming still... bummer!
:: I LOVE my girls ::
many of you noticed their 'chubby' cheeks... they are indeed getting chubby.
Eliza is 9 lbs. and Nolia is 10 lbs. {as of last week}
oh my. pure sweetness
ReplyDeleteYay for babywearing!!! I have Drea's Patapum carrier for you, we're all done using it! I meant to bring it to mom's group yesterday and forgot. I will TRY, in my pregnancy forgetfullness, to remember to bring it to church on Sunday and give it to Shelly.
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures. It was fun trying to hold them at the same time last night! :-)
ReplyDelete...it looks like they love to be swaddled. They're so cute.
ReplyDeleteoh, and my hubs had his first Chiro appointment yesterday.

Such beautiful girls!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad things are slowly getting better for you. What a blessing to finally be bale to "wear" the girls! I absolutely loved having my boys close to me that way. It's such great bonding time :)
Whoo-hoo! for babywearing! I'm excited for you three :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun bonding in this way!

well, it sounds like nursing is going well if they've already gotten to the 9 & 10 lb range. THAT IS GREAT!!!! they are just adorable.
ReplyDeletei didn't wear tulip as much as i tihnk i'll wear baby #2 (if God chooses to bless us). it will be much easier to wear a baby when you're running after a toddler...
They are sooo cute!!!! and I'm glad to hear that your healing well!!!!
ReplyDeleteI often get a headache when I haven't had enough water to drink. Considering that you are nursing (x2!) I'd say dehydration could be a very real issue for you. Drink up!
ReplyDeleteThey are so precious! I hope your healing process continues without further delay.
ReplyDeleteI'm soo happy for you Brittany. I had to read pretty far back to find out what happened to you! Craziness!! I'm so glad that you are doing better. I only got to nurse one of my twins(since the other was in the hospital) but I pumped for her. You just feel like a cow sometimes!! Keep up that water intake so you can be the healthiest mom for those beautiful kiddo's of yours!!
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture! Hope you heal fast from here on out!
ReplyDeletecongratulations....you've waited so long. Praise God for that first "wearing." Do they make a twin sling?
ReplyDeleteCONGRATUALTIONS on the birth of your 2 sweet baby princesses. We are parents to 4 little girls praying that God sees fit to bless us with 2 baby BOYS through adoption!!! You are truly BLESSED.
ReplyDeletethis may be a stupid question but...

ReplyDeleteI love chubby smoochie cheeks!
ReplyDeleteHold those babes close...they're changing so fast...
I’m so glad you’re getting better! I can’t get over how beautiful the girls are :) I had to laugh at how much they weigh as I’ve got a little man inside still (he really needs to come out now) and he’s probably over 9 lbs. I’m also going to try baby wearing for the first time (he’s our fourth baby) and I’m really excited about it!
ReplyDeleteLove their chubby cheeks :)
Anna
Your girls are so, so sweet. I've been reading your blog for a while now - not even sure anymore how I came across it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway - glad you're healing from your accident. Don't overdo - - your body's been through a LOT! Will likely take some time before everything's back to normal, whatever that is!
I love your children's names.
They are just beautiful - so glad you can "wear" them now....
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that steps are being made in your recovery. Your going to be running after all those little ones befor eyou know it :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE little chubby cheeks :) They are just adorable!
What fabulous news. Hope you are getting in all that babywearing! Glad to hear you are healing.
ReplyDeleteSo great that you can wear them now!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're healing well! But the description of your nerves healing by reconnecting & ripping! Ahh!
I found your blog throgh another mommy's blog! Your kiddos are too cute! I love all the pictures.

Well, except for the cute little finger poking out in the last one, it kinda looks like a mirror image! WOW!
