The pictures TOTALLY didn't turn out like I had envisioned but oh well! My 'goal' is to have hubby take some pictures next week... you know... so you can see my head and all! Ha!
.stats.
34 weeks & 2 days
measuring 44cm
45 inches around
doctors scale says I've gained 52lbs.
*mine is still not working*
baby A is still head down
baby B is TRANSVERSE
2cm dilated
90% effaced
-2 station
passed nst with flying colors
baby A & baby B heartrates 140-155
no growth scan this week but babies should be around 6-6 1/2 lbs. based on their growth record
we're still planning on vaginal even though baby B is transverse (sideways)... it's riskier than breech but i'm just trusting in God and letting him take the lead on this one. We'll have an u/s when I get to the hospital in labor and we'll see if baby B is still transverse. My OB said she would try to turn the baby and or "reach in and grab the feet" but if the cord prolapses (comes out before the baby) it's an automatic csection for baby B.
I'm just going to PRAY PRAY PRAY that baby B will flip now or after I deliver baby A and if not that I will be able to deliver feet first without the cord prolapsing.
I still feel great! HUGE... but great! I feel so blessed to have made it this far... only 2 - 4 more weeks! Wahooooo!

Yes, you are huge- your belly that is anyway! Wow! Look at your skinny little arms though...you look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou look SO great, as always!! LOVE the second shot for the artsyness..but loving the last one, too, since we can really SEE you. Great combo of photos!! It just looks and seems to me that it will be so soon...a few more weeks!? Whoa. Can't wait!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! Can't believe I will really ever get there!!I am starting to feel like people look at me funny if I am out with all my kids and my belly is not even that big yet!! What a special time!!
ReplyDeleteLook at that belly!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl you are so tiny all around.. you're all belly! 52 lbs for twins is really good! I've heard of people gaining way more than that with 1 baby!!
ReplyDeletePraying that Baby B will turn head down.
ReplyDeleteYou're all belly, you look great ! :)
You are still just belly! It is amazing! I think you look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAnd 34 weeks! You are amazing!
I've heard that it is easy for baby #2 to turn into position after baby #1 comes out. Praying!
You are so beautiful!!!! I love those pic! Yes will pray for sure, vaginal is way easier to recuporate from then C-section!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day Mama
you look amazing!!!! My 'B" twin was also transverse..praying she/he will filp for you before delivery!
ReplyDeletecute pictures :)
ReplyDeletewhen you go out to eat, have you gotten the "ohh, do you think you can fit in this booth?" from the hostess? lol!! and i wasn't even pregnant with twins!!!
hope your next few weeks go fast :)
Once again, beautiful as usual.
ReplyDeleteSO excited to find out what these little ones are!
You may be big but IT'S BEAUTIFUL! I looked like that at my 38 week appointment! People thought I was having twins! haha.. but I didn't .. just one. I carry way out.. You look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSooo excited that the babies will be here soon!! I just had this little vision in my mind the other day, of what your family pictures are going to look like in a few years... you'll have four not-so-little men and maybe two girls? I just had this picture in my head, it was so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou still look great! I hope baby B will turn for you during labor! So great to have an OB that will support this kind of delivery and not do an automatic c-section! I was told that if I'm breech there is no way a vaginal delivery would be available to me. :(
You are JUST belly-- It looks painful, but wow, what an exciting time!
ReplyDeleteI snuck over from Kathryn's place, I couldn't resist your blog title :-)
You look wonderful Brittany! Your belly has definatly grown since the last pictures though :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you have made it this far and the babies are healthy. I will be praying that baby b turns.
I'm also enjoying your birth stories. I can't believe how long your labors are, you are amazing.
I just cant get over how SMALL your arms are still!! =)
ReplyDeleteYour belly is huge, but that's all that is huge! You look really great. Love the pics.
ReplyDeleteWow- you look crazy fantastic! I am so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteSteph
My favorite was hearing (from my MIL, no less) at the end...."You just look so swollen!"
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you so much for saying that to me. I already feel like a big fat cow. Thank you for reinforcing that feeling!
People can say the rudest things, but I think you really look great--you look the same except for the big basketball you *swallowed*!
Great, great pics, thanks for sharing--and I LOVED reading your birth stories! It is so fun to reminisce, huh?
What I find amazing is that you're measuring 45". When I was measured for the (Guess the Momma Girth) game at my baby shower (35 or 36 weeks) with Oceana, I was 44". CRAZY! Either I was huge, or you're not as big as you look! I think I was huge.... oh dear. No wonder it took me over a year to lose the weight...
ReplyDeleteHa! Susie (above me) cracks me up :)
ReplyDeleteI bet your arms are starting to ache to hold those babies! It's SO close! But then, you already knew that ;)
Whether people look at you like you are a freak show or not - you are one hot mama rockin' a twins pregnancy.
-Andrea
You are NOT a freak show, you are absolutely adorable! I wish I could see you in person and rub your belly - Yes, I am one of those people who just HAS to touch pregnant bellies! :) OH, I am so thrilled for you and can't wait to hear the labor/delivery story of THIS birth! I'll pray that both babies end up in the DOWN position!!
ReplyDeleteHey Brittany :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so great you baby's are growing so big :)
Often as you probably know, twins are born smaller then that 6 lbs mark.
My brother and I were (twins), where born at 6'11 & 6'9. And my mom was 2 weeks overdue :)
Praying baby B flips for you!
I've only commented once or twice before; I found you through the blog vine, from Fina'Drea, I think.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, you look great. I agree with what one of the earlier commenters said, plenty of people gain that much or more with only a singleton. Plus you are ALL belly.
I love the birth stories you have been posting...your boys are beautiful or should I say handsome *giggle*

ReplyDeleteYou look amazing-all baby!! I agree with Kelly-love the dress!!!
ReplyDelete~Elyse~
You look stunning. Sending those good vibes your way. Hopefully your baby will figure it out that down is the way to go. :) Looking forward to no more headless pictures.
ReplyDeleteI had that same dress!! Only you look like WAAYYY cuter in it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my!! Look at that baby baby belly!!
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome, like you haven't gained anywhere but there...lucky you!!
Look at that belly....just wanna rub it...hahhaha...So cute! Not to much longer. Can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteWow look at that belly! Can't wait to see the babies hiding in there!
ReplyDeleteyes dear, you are HUGE, but it looks super cute!!!!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI was in the hospital from 24 weeks on, so I never had even ONE stranger ask me if I was pregnant. It was actually kind of sad.....:)
ReplyDelete2-4 weeks!? Wow. Your little arms are so tiny...you are really all baby, I mean, babies!!
ReplyDeleteI smile every time I see your growing belly. It's amazing!
ReplyDelete52 pounds?! Is that all? Sheesh, I gain practically that much when I'm only carrying ONE baby :)
After reading your first three boys' birth stories, I was think how amazing it is that with twins you've gone this far! I can't wait to see those babies.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is so cute, and you look adorable.
You look GREAT..... BUT
ReplyDeleteI can't look
I can't look
I have been seriously out and about the last day and a half, one outing to a local school fair where I bumped into a number of people we know but that aren't really frinds so I haven't seen them in a while...I hada million belly rubs, people screeching "oh my it's true then", 'you are massive', and one " are you insane?"!!!!!
I'm going to need lessons in dealing with the general public when I get to your size I think ;)
Stop being so cute, would ya? :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so close! Trust that that babe will know what to do when it's showtime. Can't wait to *meet* these little ones!
ReplyDeleteYou are so NOT a "freak show" You are beautiful!! : )
ReplyDeleteOk. I admit it, if I saw you in person and didn't know your story I might have to ask too... But you are still the cutest and just ALL belly! Getting so close! AHHHHHH!
You look terrific! I can't believe you're already so far effaced. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYour twin belly makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are big, but only your belly! Which is a good thing!
I can only imagine the comments, double the comments?? ; )
