  10. swiss chard, I totally remember this from my moms garden growing up. not sure I've eaten since I was a child but we would totally pick it and eat it right there. aahhh good memories

    there you go... that's it! {grin} I can not believe how quick you guys are... until this year I probably couldn't have named it. I hardly ever bought it at the store... I was a spinach girl. Now I'm in LOVE!

    I'm Australian too & grew up ebing told it is Spinach... but 'silverbeet' it is!!

  18. YUM! Swiss chard. I have a recipie for enchiladas with 'barbecued greens' that is awesome. I planted it in my garden last year for the first time but ended up composting most of it because I was pregnant (with twin girls:) and wanted nothing to do with most vegetables:( Sad I know! Love your blog. I've learned so many new things from your posts that I've researched and incorporated into our lives/diets. Thanks for sharing bits of your everyday life with us!
