out of my hands...

Hard to believe... but it's true!
The camera was out of my hands for a brief moment this weekend.

And Dad caught me relaxing in Papa's chair... holding sleeping Noli.

It may not be my favorite picture of ME...
but I never want to forget what it looked like to hold my babies.

I should get in front of the camera with my babies and boys more often.

Those are the pictures that we cherish most... right!?!

more posts to follow... I have lots to catch up on! {grin}

  8. I love pictures of a mom and her babies! Yes, they are the best. I'm always the picture taker in my family...so I don't get many of those pictures. :(

As always I love your posts!

  10. I have my boys take pictures of me with my baby girl. My boys are 3 and almost 5. My 3 year old takes better photos than the 5 year old, though.
That profile picture on the right? Taken by my younger son. :)

  14. Yes - your children will one day really cherish photos of you with them. My mom recently passed away & we were amazed to see how FEW photos we had of HER - with us or without.

  18. You're both gorgeous. And you're so young! (I mean that in a good way!) And yes, us moms should definitely be on the other side of the camera more often...

  21. Cute picture. I agree, I am hardly ever in any pics, because I am the one taking them. If I give the camera to my husband, he zooms in on my daughter.

  22. You're kidding right ? You are gorgeous and photogenic and there is nothing wrong with that picture.
I do agree about being in front of the camera more though.
When I look over the pictures where I didn't look as good as I wished I did it doesn't even matter now.
I just love seeing pics of me and my little ones together. I love knowing they'll have those pics to cherish. :)

  28. HI! I always feel like I am begging my hubby to take pics of me and my girls together! I have soo many of him with them, but hardly any of me with them!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I hear so many moms say that. One mom in particular lost one of her boys, and when she went through the photos she had only 4 of she and him together! I hope you will NEVER experience that, but at the same time you will lose them in the sense that they will grow and change, and how nice to have some pictures of you with them when they were sweet and little! So yeah, get your butt in front of that camera!! It's something that your kids will also treasure when they are grown.

  30. No truer words spoken. I barely have any pictures of me with my oldest 5 kids and I feel so bad when they go looking for them... so, i made it a point to force myself to turn the camera over for the youngest four :)

LOVE this picture of you! Just beautiful :)

  33. I love reading your blog and looking at your precious kids! It is nice to see you with the babies. I find myself behind the camera more than in front of it, and I am starting to realize that I am getting left out of important family shots. Got to work on that!! Don't worry about the 'haters' out there. This blog is more for you and your family then it is for those sad people!

  34. awwwww!!! What a sweet picture!

I am always the one snapping pictures in our house. Someday my kids might not even remember I was around! (I'm kidding, of course)

Honestly, your blog is the best! I found your blog thru a friend's blog and am already in love. I think this will become daily reading for me. As a mom of 7 littles, I can totally relate! I need to get some cleaning and here I sit, reading away....
