Prayer Warriors!

Please take a moment to Pray for Kayleigh and her family...
Kayleigh is an amazing little girl who has fought a good fight for so long
My heart broke as I read their post this morning
She is not waking up, and her brain is not responding

Let us flood the gates of heaven with prayers for Kayleigh and her family!

******************
I was just thinking this morning... there are SO MANY babies that need our prayers.
Kayleigh.Abby.Stellan.Baby Bear
Babies that are fighting a fight few adults could
It seems so unfair
Why?
The truth is we will never fully understand why
God has the ultimate plan
and we have such a small understanding of the BIG picture!

Trust in God, Believe in God, Know God
he will carry you through the darkest of paths
and love you more than you could ever understand

It is through our tears that we see God more clearly!

Do you know of someone who needs are prayers?
If so can you leave a comment with their name and blog {if they have one}

  1. My friend Amanda doesn't have a blog. But, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now a mass has been found on her liver. They are doing tests to see if its the same cancer that has spread, or if its altogether a different type. She is having a double mastectomy this Thursday, being tomorrow. She is a wife to Frank, a mom to 6 year old Aleah, and mom to Nathan, who is heaven. PLEASE be in prayer for my friend! There are lots of miracles needed around here lately!

There links are on my page if these don't go through!

My heart stands still that God makes no mistakes, even when my human mind can not understand!

  3. Hey Brittany. thanks for putting up info on children that need prayer. I always struggle with this. the big "why" you know? It's hard to understand why these things happen. all we can do is keep trusting and praying for those families. I am so thankful for the good health of my children.

Completely unrelated, but can you share the cookie recipe you tweeted about yesterday? It sounds yummy!

  5. Just wanted to post an answer to the "why" question that all of our hearts ask when we go through such great trials. The Lord really impressed I Peter 1:6-9 on my heart last week, so I'll share it...

6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Our trials are ordained by God to strengthen our faith and glorify Himself, all of which is the point of our being on this earth as long as He wants us here.

Love reading your blog, Brittany...it's a little addictive, tho!

  6. I don't have a prayer request other than for Kayleigh. The Freemans are good friends of ours, and I'd like to thank you for listing this.

  10. Brittany, thanks for doing this. You are right about there being so many people and babies out there fighting for their lives.Although I can't imagine what it must be like for those parents and families, we are in a fight of a different sort. I have writen to you numerous times, and I also have twins and biological boys....well our twins, who are still considered foster as of right now are facing the possibility of "return home" and thus we are facing the possibility of losing them. They are now 18 months old and we got them at 4 days. If it is God's will that they go home, then I know I will get through it, but prayers to help me handle it all would be great. I just recently had to make my blog unlisted, because the state is cracking down on blogs with foster kids, but if you want to read about our journey, just email me and I will add you to the list of readers. My email is mashelhall@comcast.net. Thanks Brittany.

  15. It is a very sad day indeed. My parents dear friends the Kittermans had a very tragic event. Their son who is Paul's age hung himself. He has left behind a wife and three children. We don't know why or anything but please add their family and these poor children left without a father to your prayer warriors.

    Thanks,

    Karen

  16. I hope its okay to ask for prayer for myself ... after the news today, I need it desperately.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 13 April 2009. Its very agressive they said today -- I have a huge mass in my left breast. I know God is more than able and He will be with me, but prayer helps me get through this.

will pray for all the others!!

  20. As a new mom of twins I have really enjoyed reading your blog...you give me hope that I too can do it :) My babies are still in NICU (2 weeks 3 days)and doing pretty well although we just got news that our baby girl has the posibility of mental retardation. I know that God never gives you more than you can handle and if this is the path he wishes us to take, then there is a reason...but as you can imagine it isn't an easy pill to swallow. Please add our family (Meyer Family) to your prayers and know we are praying for all of the babies fighting their fights!
