Just hangin' out

We are ALL so happy to be home... it has been a nice peaceful weekend.
The girls are getting better each day and with all their little smiles and giggles you wouldn't even be able to tell they were sick.
The cough and the big sticky circles on Nolia's face {from the stickies that hold the nasal tube in} are the only signs of sickness left.

Their brothers have been giving them extra attention... In all the rush I didn't even think about how they would handle what was going on. They were in very good hands {Shelly, Sarah, Nana & Dad} but they were worried about their sisters too.

Oh man, these girls are going to be VERY protected by all their big brothers and father... what LUCKY girls! {grin}

hope you're all having a great weekend! I'm off to finish up laundry while the girlies are sleeping and the boys are building legos.

  3. I'm glad everything's looking up for you guys.

    And glad you got the are that you needed for the girls.

    I'm surprised they hospitlized you for Nolia's breathing. Kolby had issues with that often. But never once was hospitlized and his oxygen numbers would be in the sixties. But after he responded so well to the breathing treatment, they would send him home. Different doctors I guess.

    And yes, being in the hospital can be annoying even when it is the right thing.

    Thanks for keeping it real. Sorry I didn't get to comment sooner!

  4. I am just catching up with everything. I am so glad the girls are BOTH ok! How scary. I am glad you stuck by your guns and did everything you thought was necessary for their health and safety. Good mama. :) Sorry some of the readers took as you being negative. It's so HARD to really convey feelings over a blog- especially if you don't "really" know a person.

    AND don't you LOVE calm weekends. We have been such bums today! It has been amazing. A true day of rest.

  17. Those two are going to have a tough time going out on their first date with all those big brothers looking after them =) My husband comes from a family of six - four boys and two girls - and they scared away dates for YEARS lol.

  23. aquaphor does wonders to remove those little stickies! just put a dab next to one and work it away without pulling on her tender skin! (you can use anything greasy to help out)
