those days...

Ozzie is having one of 'those' days...

you know... a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

his big brothers are at Papa's for a few days and dad is working

he's SOOOO bored without his big brothers... and mom is so busy with the babies {they've been on an alternating schedule the last 2 days... which means I almost always have a baby in my arms}

all will be well again when big brothers get home tonight and he gets a few piggy back rides and giggle on the couch!

SERIOUSLY... it's just as hard with 3 as it is with the 6 {sometimes}. Less mess, less laundry, less food, but Ozzie is so needy when his big brothers aren't here. They do so much for him! He has been saying "hold you Ozzie" to me for 2 days now. So basically I've done NOTHING because when I'm not holding the girls I'm holding Ozzie or all 3 at the same time. oh Well! The house and laundry can wait... holding my babes won't last! {grin}

So that's why I haven't been online... I've been way to busy with THREE! Maybe i'll get something done when the boys get back... ha!

  4. I agree! I have 3 girls (5,4, and 2) and when the older two are gone...the baby is so needy! She's clingy and won't play. So I hear ya that less is not always better :) I'm not sure what's gonna happen when the older two go off to kindergarten next fall! hmm...maybe another baby?! lol

  6. I always feel like Mylo must be BORED to tears having to hang out with me all day while I take care of Phin. I keep telling him life is going to be MUCH better real soon since he'll have a playmate/wrestling partner. ;) Maybe we should get together so Mylo and Ozzie can play while we hold our babies!

  7. Those pictures- SO SAD, but sosuper cute at the same time. :)
    You are right - siblings can be very helpful in keeping little ones distracted.
    You are such a great mom to be able to let go of house work etc and enjoy holding your babies. I'm still working on that one...it can be hard!

  8. At that age, yes, it is easier with them all home (sometimes) because the little ones are distracted.

    Once they get older, it's much more quiet when some of the siblings are gone..LOL. Take it from me! When my two older kids are at their friends, it's sooooo calm and peaceful with just my three youngest!!

  9. Poor Ozzie!
    I just wish my kids all got along that well to miss each other when they are gone. :) I have 3 kids. Two girls 5,4 and a boy almost 7. Your children are gorgeous!

  10. isnt it odd how having a "break" doesn't always turn into a break since we have to fill in where the missing siblings left off!!

  13. what a sweet boy! I have a little three year old who misses her older siblings while they are at school, it is amazing how the olders seem to entertain the younger ones.

  14. Oh how I can relate to this! I need to get a double carrier so I can wear them at the same time. You use the ring slings right?? I think I have 6 loads of laundry that need to be folded! Oh well, it can wait, they are only this litte once!!

  16. Poor Ozzie...what a sweet little face...
    If my bigger boys didn't make such a mess, I would say it's more helpful to have them around because they entertain the little ones!

  17. poor lil ozzie... that's so cute "hold you ozzie"

  18. That is sooooo true. I find I get a lot more done when all of my children are home to entertain each other than when I just have the 2 youngest, who constantly want me to play with them; and who am I to say no (wink)?

  19. So sad but so precious at the same time... Hope Ozzie's brothers are home soon to turn that frown upside down :)

  22. My little one is like that when big brothers are gone too!
    You have a good perspective, yes your house may be a mess, but it is only for a season.

  23. I can soooo understand. I only have 4 (that sounds weird, most of the time I'm the one with the most kids:) When my kids Paw Paw offers to take the older three to the movies or something, and it just me and Macey, it seems I can't get anything done b/c she want's all my time when there gone. The older siblings are really a BIG help.

  24. I totally understand - we have three boys (4,2 & 7 months) and when Jax (4) is at school Bodie (2) will get up and look all over the house saying "where jax" and gets sad when I tell him he is at school. All is well when we pick Jax up - Bodie's eyes light up and runs to Jax with his arms wide open for a hug!

  25. Totally agree. I love it when they entertain each other!

    Great pictures of Ozzie. He's such a cute little guy. : )

    And I LOVE that he says "hold you Ozzie" to be held, Tommy does the same thing.

  28. Oh little noodle! It's so hard to be lonely! Bless his heart! You captured the mood perfectly Mum!

  29. I feel ya! My children are the same way...and even though they are all about the same age and don't "help" each other necessarily...they do "occupy" eachother's time well! So when one is missing it's just as difficult keeping the others busy!

  30. Yeah, I'd totally go crazy if I didn't have SlowMo here helping so much, and I'd definitely never go grocery shopping! ha. I either take all 3 of them and she helps or they all stay home with dad!

  31. Yeah, and now he needs Ava to come over and take his keys and pinch his face! Woo-hoo! I can already hear him, "NO, Awa!"
