things that go BANG in the night

My oh my! These little babes are something else… my stomach has NEVER changed shape, bounced, bobbed, jiggled or moved ANYTHING like this before. I love every moment of it… it’s a constant reminder of the little miracles in my belly.

I am becoming ever so excited to meet these little ones. The thought that they could be here in a week just blows my mind. How are we so BLESSED?! Since the moment I found out we were having twins I’ve had this image in my head of God holding a baby in his hands and splitting it into 2 babies… cradling them both softly in his hands… separate but together. I think back to the first few weeks that seem so long ago but really were merely months ago. The news that our twins may be monoammniotic and not separated by a membrane… and seeing that image and knowing that they were separated… even if it is by a thin, nearly invisible line. God’s hands have been on our family and these precious babies since they day they were conceived. I can’t help but grin at the thought of how blessed we really are. God is SO GREAT it blows my mind. The love and attachment we already have for these babies is so strong… It’s hard to believe how much stronger it’s going to become in the next few weeks.

And back to the big BANGS… I have minutes and minutes of video of the babies moving and shaking my belly. BUT I can’t figure out how to put them all together and take out the sound. Hmmmm. Sounds right up hubby’s alley. Hopefully I’ll get it done soon… I’m excited to see it all put together and share it with you all. J

  3. It is just so nice to read your words and hear someone so happy and grateful! This is such a cynical world sometimes so I really applaud your attitude.

I always think it is funny after the babies are born to think back to all the movement inside. Because it seems like newborns don't really kick and flail about that much...must be that they are in more motion in the fluid or something. Enjoy your last days/weeks with them all to yourself!

  4. That must be such a crazy feeling of 2 little movers in there!

After Ella was born I was nursing her and her little elbow slid across my stomach. I totally recognized that feeling from when she was inside making that same movement!

    Have fun!

Can't wait to see the video!

  7. Microsoft Windows Movie Maker allows you to edit your clips and stitch them together. It's super easy to use. Then you can compress them to a smaller size to upload. :) If you have a mac then I can ask my hubby for a program for a Mac... he's a tech guy. Just drop me a line on my blog or email me chelle.thai@gmail.com

  8. What a beautiful image! I know how attached I have always been to my babies while they were in my belly, and it is the same thing this time around. I only have one baby in there and I'm only 21 weeks, but I really understand what you are saying! I know you must be excited. Looking forward to the video!

    Best,
    Kelly

  9. You could try uploading them onto www.onetruemedia.com and choosing one of their music tracks to go with it instead... that's what I do anyways! :) (I'm not so technically oriented, lol) You can then embed it into your blog with the code.

  16. Oh, I can just about imagine! I vividly remember the last weeks of having ONE baby inside my tummy, kicking, jabbing, moving it's head back and forth. I'm curious, are you in any pain with all the pushing and nudging?

  17. Brittany,
You shot me right back to my pregnancy with the girls. A constant wrestling match is what I felt I was housing. I loved it too! Every bit of it. I can't wait to see your clip of them.

  20. Photobucket.com honey. You can load the videos and edit them altogether with music and all. It is very easy and has full explanations -- in English even.

One week, can't believe it. I am very excited for you and your family, but I am really excited to know what they are. God bless.

  21. ohh my if you knew what I had been through this past week trying to remember the name of your blog and track you down.

I've visited a few times but forgot to add you to my favorites list. {Now done}.

I have searched peoples blogs trying to find you, gave up and finally mistakenly found you tonight.

Can't wait to read about your boys or girls. Dying to know what they are. It's like waiting for someone in my family to have a bub only twice as exciting.

Wishing you all the best and will be back to visit soon.
{wow and I thought my 4 boys made my life busy)

  22. Pss Just been reading all the names suggested and thoguth I'd add mine.
    My boys are
    Chayse, Brodie, Logan and Parker
and if we'd had a girl the first time would have been Emmersyn and the next times we loved Ayvah and Aria.
Hope this helps but I'm sure if you get a girl you'd have names to use after 4 boys.
