Have you been wondering what I've been up to? You haven't? That's okay... I'll tell you anyway! {grin}
This boy, and his daddy, came home....
oh, how happy I am to have them home again! I do think little Ozzie came home a little older and a little bit more golden. What do you think?!
We've been eating some of this...
...instead of cooking.
And I have been having fun playing with my new lensbaby.... taking pictures of pizza, our other blankie boy & glow sticks! If you love fun creative photography you have to check out this lens! I can not wait to play with it on the farm!
I am so excited school is out! And even more excited to start our homeschool journey!
... we're going to have a BLAST!
I have also been talking with our doctor about baby food. I have more to share on that later!
I'll be announcing the winner for this giveaway shortly. So if you haven't entered yet... you better hurry! And for those who were wondering... I pick the winner using random.org.
With dad's help we'll be picking the winner for this contest today. I LOVE the captions you all have come up with! This was too much fun! Shall we do it again? I think I might have another perfect picture and prize!
Speaking of giveaways... remember this giveaway to Gremadcha Etsy shop?
isn't it adorable! I can't wait until the girls are ready for necklaces! Oh my, I'm in trouble! {grin}
And if you have noticed... the girls haven't been wearing their bracelets lately because Nolia lost hers. It was on one minute and gone the next. And I STILL can not find it. OY!

Yes, I know I use ! and {grin}'s too much! A girls got to express herself somehow! {grin}
Those who asked about the Charlies Soap that I tweeted about. Yes, I use their laundry powder and LOVE IT! I have used it for years. It is wonderful for anything from cloth diapers to boy grimy clothes to dedicates. I just tried out their all purpose cleaner recently and have fallen head over heels in love. Paul cleaned up his motorcycle the other day with it... when he came back inside he asked why we hadn't been buying this all along! Okay, enough about soap... and no I do not work for the company! {grin}
Now I am off to make something with Avocado in it for lunch and enjoy this beautiful, beautiful day with my boys and girls! {still have a hard time writing boys AND GIRLS} Wow!
Wow I wish school got out that early year. Still a couple months to go.
ReplyDeleteYou are so brave but I am sure you all will love it!
And i love Vance's hair. I tried to grow out my son's and when it got to that really awkward stage daddy cut it off! Oh well next time
that was a post... i thought you were meeting dad and ozzie at the farm? glad you are all back together and happy for you that you've made a decision about home schooling...
ReplyDeleteBrittany,
ReplyDeleteI looked at the lensbaby and it looks so fun! I am trying to learn more about my camera - can you tell me the difference between the one for $150 and the one for $270? Did you get the composer? I am a total novice - maybe this is too advanced for me? Any help is appreciated!!

I'm so glad that you have your boys home :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhy am I thinking they would be gone for a month? I am probably reading too many blogs!!
ReplyDeleteMan that pizza looks good! I am starving right now! I just got back from a 5 hour class and need some food!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
HI! I just ordered some Charlies Soap! I've been wanting to try something new that really cleans so I hope I like it!! I also put your name as a referral - so hopefully you'll get a gift! I just put Brittany of 4 little men and girly twins! Hope they can figure that out! HA! Does the soap smell good? I am kinda goofy about smells!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion!
Pizza looks GOOD!
ReplyDeleteI overuse exclamation marks too and I don't care :) It's hard to express yourself on a flat page!
Have a nice weekend as a WHOLE family!

Congrats on being done school. Here public school goes all the way to the end of June but we are done on Thursday. So happy for you about starting your homeschool journey... you find you don't want to go back after one year... grin.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to LOVE the lensbaby! I use mine all the time and treasure it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to start summer to have your whole family together again! Have fun with your new lens, and I can't wait to see pictures of the farm!
ReplyDeleteLove Vance's hair style!
ReplyDeleteOzzie looks cute as always, but too skinny.
Have a good weekend!
I have been a dedicated user of Charlie's Soap laundry powder for about three years now. I love the stuff and use it for ALL my laundry. I love that it doesn't smell... no perfumey stuff for me.
ReplyDeleteI do love the all-purpose cleaner too. Which reminds me, I need more.
Also, what diapers do you use? I used Fuzzi Bunz with #1 but #2 on the way I want to add to my collection for the newborn. But, no more kiddos for me.
Look at all that hair on Ozzie! When did that happen? They just grow up too fast.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I use Charlie's and love it. I actually ordered the 5 gallon bucket. Happy for you that your family is together again!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! I was homeschooled for 3 years and loved it so much! I swear that has a lot to do with how smart I am ;)
ReplyDeleteOkay and now I have a question for you. It's of the utmost importance so be ready, okay? :P
I have the same hair you have. Curly like no other and just got it cut into pretty much the same style. What do you use on your hair to make it so dang cute? My hair is hardly ever that good looking and I have no idea what product to use or how to make it look like that.
please? help me? thanks :)
YAHOO for the boys being home plus Ozzy & Daddy too. Glad you decided to HS even with those oh so lovely comments that you got from the HS post...grin!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Grayson is so beautiful(I know he's a boy but he really is beautiful!) He looks more like you, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteThank you again! The picture of the necklace doesn't even do its CUTENESS justice. It is just simply beautiful in person. And....it's sized for a child.
ReplyDeleteHi Brittany--I've only recently started reading your blog, and even at that, I don't read very often (as I, too, have 4 young boys!), so I might have missed something...BUT, I'm so excited you are homeschooling! Have your picked your curriculum, etc.? It WILL be a blast, and you will not regret the immensely rewarding time with your kiddos!!
ReplyDeleteRuth
h a n d s o m e n e s s ! !
ReplyDeletep.s. I'm doing a giveaway on my blog this weekend for a book you might like! I'll probably post it later tonight. xo
You will love homeschooling! I am starting over again next year. My kids spent 2 school years in public school and that's enough for me. Prior to that they were homeschooled. Love your pics!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on school being out and good luck with homeschooling next year! I am so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteNice pic of our boys!! :-) Those Lensbaby pics look cool...and your pizza looks super yummy! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou sound like the type who will love homeschooling. I am finishing 9 years of it with our 2 kids. I love spending time with my kids. We had fun field trips and took days when everyone else was in school to go to the zoo, museums, state fair & such. I will be going back to work in the fall & they'll go to a small public school just 6 blocks away. We are excited yet sad. I don't like change & this is a big one.God bless you as you start. Nannette
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking Ozzie's hair is a little longer and blonder...so yes I think you're right he's more golden!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your homeschooling stories, it's something I'd consider one day so will be interested to follow your journey.
Quick question: do you know if there's such a thing as mixed homeschool/regular schooling? I think that would be such a nice balance of both so they still get the "normal" side and the social aspect of school. Has anyone ever heard of that, does it exist?
We finished our first year of home schooling. Some days were a little difficult and the rest of the days were AWESOME! We are going for it agaon next year and the year after, and the year after. I could never send my sweeties back to school after doing it once.

Mommy to seven!
Great post and photos (as are the ones of you twin-baby wearing...which you make look so simple). I have to know...in the picture of Grayson on his last day...what in the world is the parent (??) behind him carrying? Some sort of reptile in a cage? Not sure why it caught my eye - but being a teacher, it's the second thing I noticed!
ReplyDeletealways enjoy looking at your photography and getting ideas. glad you are venturing into homeschooling. i home schooled my kids for a couple yrs. Unfortunantly due to unavoidable circumstances i had to put them back in public school. they did very well thankfully. plz do not make this a public school bashing blog!!! one person's choice is not right for everyone. also plz do not tag me as a brittany hater!!! i have noticed that any one who disagrees with something is considered a "hater"!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Love the one of the boys makin faces..hehe
ReplyDeleteOzzie with his blankie just melts my heart too..love it :)
Best of luck homeschooling!
Hugs
Terri
I think you will LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteI thought homeschooling would only be a "1 year gig"...
but only my 7th grader wants to go back (but he's not).
It will be the most amazing experience every! Cant wait to read about it!
PS/// try to fit in a convention or two in your area... it will help A LOT (I wish I would have done it sooner... I just went to my first last week/
That pizza looks delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty new to the homeschooling adventure, too. Good luck! It IS hard work but I enjoy life a lot more.
ReplyDeleteexplain the lens more?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteHey Brittany! I really think you'll enjoy homeschooling. I was homeschooled and I am now homeschooling my kids - despite the fact that people always think you'll be weird if you homeschool - we are pretty normal....
ReplyDeleteI home-schooled my son for a year. He shot forward academically, but was not completely happy - he is an only child and got lonely, and I don't think I had a very good rapor with him as a teacher. Then I put him in a small school (it has just 15 pupils - all several years older than him) where he has all his lessons one-to-one, and he is happier now as he has other kids about and gets a break from me, yet also gets close, individual attention from teachers. He now has the best of both worlds and is doing well academically while also being happy.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys have been eating pizza does that mean you all now eat dairy products (cheese)?
