Tricia - My shoulders get a little sore if I wear them too long... but most of the time I stop before it's too late. I have learned my limits. :) My chiro always comments on how tight my shoulders are. It's SO worth it though!
Hurray!! You posted a picture carrying both of your babies at the same time! I have been so curious as to how you do it when you talk about carrying them and I have wanted to see a picture for so long! (I even e-mailed you a while ago to ask you if you could post a picture of it :) Thanks so much! I have always thought I would do this when I have kids and now I know for sure that I will. Thanks Brittany! Is is getting heavy and hard on your back to still be carrying them?? They are growing so much :)
ADORABLE!!! i couldn't imagine it with 2 but you make it look good! :) i carry my little one in a wrap all the time and she LOVES it - yay for baby wearing! :)
cute pictures :)and I absolutely love Eliza and her really funy face on the second picture :) lovely... :) I have cut my hair few weeks ago (if you cut at least 10 inches you can donate them - e.g. for Locks of Love :) ... and I absolutely love life with short hair now when the summer´s coming :)
This is neat - I like these pictures. :) I'm expecting again in December, so my two will be 2 years apart, and I can picture myself with my 2-year-old in a Patapum back carry & my littlest one wrapped on my front. :) Fun! :)
Love those pictures. LOL the last one you need to make part of your header ;-) wink wink! im free next week if you want to get started! if not next week ill be gone all thru June. BTW did you get our email abt meeting up at the zoo? :) on the 16th?
this is too cute. I, like many couldnt picture you wearing both of them! have you found that one prefers being up front and one in back? or do you switch it up?
Have you ever worn them both on the front? I've seen a lady with two little girls on her chest (they were newborn) and she used two identical ring slings. I wish I knew how she did it.
I love everything about the second picture! Nolia's curly, Eliza's really funny face, your hair in your mouth, and of course, wearing to babies at a time!
you are too cute wearing both those beautiful babies. I love my meeup also but Ethan is starting to get a little squirmy in it now that he can crawl around :)
That is hilarious! Love the comments with arrows all over the pic. I don't know how you do it woman, there isn't an ounce of stress on your face. I'd look agonized with two of mine attached on the front and back!:)
This is so fun. I tweeted it from my phone but am home now to comment!! I am growing my hair out longer- not ready to cut it yet altho I get REALLY tempted some days. Especially with grabby grabbers baby. I'm just afraid I'd regret it if I cut it short...
And what a pretty backpack! I've never used anything like that before.
wow~you've got quite a bit of baby hanging off of you! :) I say if you are thinking about cutting your hair---go for it---but I'm the crazy girl who cuts her hair different lengths/ways all the time...but your hair looks pretty the way it is now too!
These pictures are gorgeous and say so much. Eliza and Nolia are beautiful and I love it when they pull their little faces. If cutting your hair makes life easier for you, go for it. But I would keep some of those curls if I were you. Best wishes to you and all of your lovely family.x
Oh my goodness, that is awesome!!! And hysterical. And now thanks to you I know what I need for when Baby gets here - a kokopax backpack. I am going to go research them right now. But I will need something that lets me wear two of them.
We have GOT to make you something that matches that Kokopax...I just can't stand the clashing! LOL! My fabrics came in, you'll just drool, they are beautiful!
You and your daughters are just so lovely! I've really enjoyed gettting to know your family through your blog since finding it shortly ago. I LOVE your Meeup too! I might need one... Hmmm... :)
Hi Brittany, we recently found out we're expecting twins! We have one child already. Anyway, I have so many questions but I don't know anyone with twins and I was wondering if you could email me. my email is katiemetka@yahoo.com one thing is, is your kokopax comfortable? I enjoy babywearing, plus when we travel that looks like something my husband could wear while I wear the other one in a sling. anyway, hope to hear from you. thanks! Katie Metka
I love this! Pretty soon this will be me with an almost two-year old and a less than two-week old when we travel to adopt our second baby.
I'm planning to use my wrap (5 yards tie-dyed crinkle cotton) and a home-made thick jersy pouch. I hope it works out. I'm a little worried about all the inevitable stares.
I should practice with Amanda on my back and a sack of potatoes in the pouch.
oh my gosh, i love these! It is so fun to see what a normal day looks like for you.
ReplyDelete-Stacy
Oh my gosh, they are too adorable! Do you ever get a sore back from all the carrying? :)
ReplyDeleteReal life is the best!
