It was so warm on Thanksgiving
it is not warm today.
The boys are anxiously waiting for snow,
and lots of it.
I've been plagued with headaches this week,
today was no exception. sigh.
The house is littered with card games, dominoes, baby dolls,
blankets, puzzles, books & nerf bullets

I've been in a funk lately.
Maybe it's the headaches or missing my family
or just the ebb and flow of life.
Whatever it is, I'm ready to move on.
or just the ebb and flow of life.
Whatever it is, I'm ready to move on.
It was nice to have a week off school
...but I am SO ready to get back to it.
The routine, the one on one time with each child,
I love it.
We ran out of dish soap.
Do you know what happens when you run out of dish soap
AND don't have a dishwasher?
We still see and hear the snow geese in the sky.
They travel East, West, South & North.
I think they're confused.
With the cold weather settling in,
and all 8 of us being in the house,
it's starting to feel very small.
We blew a fuse again
but this time it was to the big yard light.
Do you know how very very dark it is out in the middle of no where
with no lights to be seen anywhere?
PITCH BLACK.

The leftovers are all gone,
which is a bummer because leftovers
...make really easy meals.
We're going to watch a family movie tonight,
probably Little House on The Prairie
and eat sticky popcorn.
oh, I almost forgot to add camera numbers.
I'd love to know if sharing my camera settings
is even beneficial for anyone.
Since that's why I started doing it. {grin}
Happy Saturday!
Sorry about the funk you're in. I'm in a similar one. Sigh. Love the pictures, as always! And yes, I am loving the camera numbers. I got my first DSLR several months ago, and I'm really trying to work on improving my manual photography. References like these are a HUGE help!
ReplyDeleteI am also in a funk. I'm missing my dad something terrible, it's our first holiday without him. I'll hold you and your funk in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the camera numbers. I'm sure it's tedious doing them all the time, but having them in some posts to look back at is a great reference for me as a beginner DSLR user. Maybe you could tag these posts in a certain way so readers could jump to a list of them for reference! Hope you are feeling better and more cheerful soon!
ReplyDeleteThe camera settings are very helpful... thanks for sharing them! :)

I was laughing when you asked if the numbers were helpful. I was just going to tell you how much I'm loving it! Love the kitty picture. I'm not even going to pretend like I can tell them apart. Both girls are beautiful though! :)
ReplyDeletethe camera numbers are super helpful. thanks for posting them!
ReplyDeletehope you feel better soon!
Thank you for putting the camera numbers. You rock!
ReplyDeleteI like the numbers. I'm just learning all of this. I would still really love to know how you make your photos so big on Blogger too. I would like to make mine bigger.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the numbers!! Especially the ones that have the kids in them. It is so helpful to see how you get their faces or sometimes not their faces =) so sharp.
ReplyDeleteMaybe its the season... of life. :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing with your camera!

Oh I know, I'm sorry I haven't responded yet.
ReplyDeleteI changed my template to really wide, its just a blogger template, and then when I post I change the size in html. Its the 2nd link to the photo and starts with an s. You can play with size and figure out what size fits on you blog.
Hope that helps, let me know if you have more questions. :)
