Living in your RV for a week, while it is parked in front of your house, is great. The house stays cleaner, you can still use your washer and dryer, it's easy to get anything you have forgotten & you can still tend to your lovely garden.
Do not leave your camera charger at home and take your nearly dead camera 50 miles away to a 4th of July festival... you will be very disappointed.
If you are planning on letting the girls go swimming on this trip, you are going to need to buy them swimsuits. While slip 'n sliding naked works on the farm it is not even close to being okay in public.
Storing your Reese peanut butter cups in the freezer make for a really delicious cold treat!
Using the outside RV grill is the way to go, cooking inside is much too warm. Now all you need is some more recipes!
Breaking out the back window of your truck while putting the fuel tank on will, unfortunately, delay your trip.
Do not forget to stop on your way out of town to stock up on hemp seeds & kombucha. They are hard to find and you really don't want to be without them if you can help it.
You should consider schooling in the RV all the time. Much less distraction and no where to hide!
Just because you've stayed up past 1am the last 3 night, celebrating Independence day, does not mean you need to do it again tonight. {grin}
goodnight friends.
Looking forward to hearing of your adventures on the road! If I can think of any recipes to share for your trip, I will. But I eat pretty differently then you, so I will have to think on it. :)
ReplyDeleteyou should really consider getting a Kombucha mother and making your own. I would ask around on some natural living boards if you were near Maine I would definitely give you one. It is a great way to save money! All it requires is bags of tea, sugar and time!

What does your husband talk about in this twitter ??????? I really want to know but nothing makes sense to me :(

Ha! I don't understand a lot of it either...its mostly global economy and currency trading talk. He uses twitter a bit differently than we so. (grin)

ReplyDelete*grin* I'll make extra so you'll have some fresh when you arrive here!
ReplyDeleteWe just returned home from your neck of the woods! I was surprised at how warm it was - I was banking on low 80's for highs. It was good to be at the lake without winter coats though, be there done that!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the pics from your RV adventure :)
