settle down wind

The girls are almost ONE year old {oh my!}

We received a special box in the mail on Saturday...
a box filled with pink and orange tutus

I have imagined what it would look like to see my little girls
wearing pink tutus and waddling around
with their chubby legs
and full bellies
curly hair
and pudgy feet

This image has been in my head for almost a year...
and now here we are.

My dear Eliza... I am so sorry I made you sit on an old chair in the middle of a soybean field on a VERY windy day.

almost EVERY picture of Eliza she is reaching out to be picked up
what a mean mama!

{really it was only about 60 seconds!}

and my dear Nolia...I know that wind was TOO cold.
So cold that you couldn't do anything other than say "ohhhhhhhhh"
clenching your fists and kick your legs.

I'm sorry, I hope the extra snuggles on the gator ride back made it worth it!

I ADORE this picture...
even though you can see their wind blown hair
they aren't looking
and my lens had spots on it!

guess we'll just have to try again...
