I know, I know, this isn't the BABYWEARING 101 post.
There were so many GREAT questions, I really wanted to spend a little more time putting the post together and try to get some pictures of ME putting the carriers on.
So I am sharing with you, these precious pictures of the girls dressed in yellow...
I'm sure these will hold you over a little while longer. {grin}

ReplyDeleteand I really can´t wait to read that babywearing post...
I have one question: (maybe someone already asked...) was it hard at the beginning? how long did it take you to feel really comfortable and safe while babywearing? what would be the best sling to start with? :)
Lovely pictures. Your girls look beautiful in yellow!

Precious!! I love it.... one of my fave little outfits of chloe's is yellow polka dots....hehe...it's the NEW pink...LOL
ReplyDeleteyour girls are beautiful!!! They wear yellow beautifully!!! interested in reading the baby wearing post!
ReplyDeleteOk, I noticed the diaper cover on one of the girls. I am assuming you use cloth diapers or a version of them with covers. What are your favs? Do you use different for newborns than for when they get older and bigger? How do you feel about the resources used to clean cloth diapers as opposed to just buying "better for the environment and compostable" disposable diapers? I am having my second child in a month. We live a pretty enviromentally conscious lifestyle and eat as much organic as possible but I did not attempt cloth diapers with my first child. I just do not know where to begin. There are so many different versions out there to choose from. I guess you could do a whole post on this and maybe you already have. I will search your blog and see. Thanks for reading this very lengthy comment, ha!
ReplyDeleteSooooo Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable!
ReplyDeleteNow I know why you wanted to buy yellow bows :)
I love the pics where they are against the mirror.. they look like 4 babies :D

Ok, sorry just researched and saw on a previous Q&A post that you use Bumgenius during the day
ReplyDeleteThe girls look different to me in these pictures, they are growing so fast already! And they looks absolutely smashing in yellow! : )
ReplyDeleteYeah that little girl is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteoh my. Those big blue eyes. That hair! And those chubby little arm folds:) They are oh-so-adorable:) thanks for answering my Q , now another, hehe, which sling do you recommend? Fatboy(14mths) is still pretty small(10kgs i think about 22 pounds). And you know i love me a funky pattern! And what about newborn?(im planning another ASAP haha) and can i carry the new baby and Fatboy if hes not too heavy by the time we actually have a baby? Oh im sorry that was about 4 Q's!
ReplyDeleteWow, that yellow looks great on your girl! I love the dress... they are so precious!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness they're precious!! Too cute for words :)
ReplyDeleteOH yes you know you can always satisfy us with pictures of those two little cuties!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI see your tweet about a human jungle gym and a mama pig. I totally feel like the person with the bread at the beach when the bag finally becomes empty and the seagulls go after them! ;) My twins have become very big momma's girls lately (especially one).
ReplyDeleteMy initial comment was going to be that I love the close-ups of the girls because for the first time I can see the difference in them...and I can really see it! As a mommy to twin girls about the same age as yours, I get the "How do you tell them apart?" question all the time. I think, "It's not hard!" but then I look at your girls and think, "How do you tell them apart?" ;) Now, close up, I can so see the difference.
They're so beautiful...each in their own way!
Cute, cute, cute.
ReplyDeleteI have a question about babywearing that perhaps you could answer in your 101 post? I was wondering if you find with any of your 6 kids, if babywearing has made any of them extra clingy? I've found that kids who are held all the time tend to be on the clingy side. Have you experienced that?
Ooooh, there are four of them!! Even more chubby, smiley, girlie cuteness! ;) :P
ReplyDeleteJust one more quick q for the babywearing post: I used the hip carry for my previous kid without a problem, but now it seems to be very bothersome. Maybe because I have more kids to run after and therefore more stunts to perform, but I can't seem to get comfortable with the hip carry. I have nowhere to put my arm, and I feel like I'm pushing my baby's head aside when I wheel the stroller.
She is almost 8 months, but the most comfortable position for me is in the hotsling, tummy to tummy or in a maya wrap, legs crossed, facing out. Both positions are recommended till 6 months, but they are the ones that work.
Thanks!
Your girls are a-dor-a-ble in sunshiney yellow! :)
ReplyDeleteYour girls are adorable.. with beautiful blue eyes and all that hair!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and your girls are absolutely gorgeous. I love how you take your photos.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YELLOW! your girls look fantastic in it.
ReplyDeletePhototip: not sure you want it :) but I thought id let you in on it.. when I work with black and have gray show through (which in your photos it is up at the top portion of the girls photos).. you can fix this super easily by BURNING the black with the burn tool. When I burn i typically zoom in some to get it more precise... and then make the burn tool a lower opacity.. like 40% or so.. It works fantastic!!
I dont think the gray looks bad tho but if you wanted it all black thats a tip :)
Love love love the pics. I hate we wont get to meet you!! u should still totally come even if its just with the girls.
