the REAL point to this post was to find other multiples...
since finding out I was preggo with the 'twins' I became increasingly interested in multiples...
seeing their alikeness
seeing their differences
how the interact
how they grow
how the parents adjust to multiples
little tips and tricks
and so on and so on...
However, I really don't know too many twin - triplet - quad mama's and their blogs.
SO... I'm calling for you!
Who out there has multiples?
I want to come check out your beautiful babes
... see your blessed life
and I'm sure there are lots of others out there who do not have multiples that want to peek into the 'multiples bowl' too!
So, pipe up!
peek out!
de-lurk!
say hello!
I can't wait to meet you and your mesmerizing multiples!
**even if you don't have a blog I'd still LOVE to know how many multiple mamas are out there reading our blog!
Having 4 boys in 4 years doesn't count... but both my siblings have twins.
ReplyDeletejust wanted to say... again...
your girls are soooo adorable!
I'm in the 4 boys in 4 years category too. So I don't count either, but I'm glad you posted this. I've always entertained the thought of having twins, but as it's something that can't be chosen I must content myself with other's sweet babes.
ReplyDeleteYours are especially yummy. :)
I don't have a blog, but I do have ggb triplets. Of course, they are not identical and instead of being amazed at how much they are alike, I am often amazed to see their differences. It has been so much fun to raise a boy with girls and how completely different they are from the beginning!
ReplyDeleteI always love watching them interact and how fiercely protective they are of each other. It has been an incredible honor to be their mother and I feel blessed beyond measure.
Your girlies are just so darling. I always enjoy seeing their pictures - they grow so fast!
Here is a great one!!! I follow it daily...she is the most upbeat positive person I think I know!! She is the mom to Quad's and on her site she had some quad friends. Have fun!

NTAF South-Central Bone Marrow Transplant Fund
Nehir Bayazit needs your help. In November 2008, when she was 19 months old, Nehir was diagnosed with stage IV high risk neuroblastoma, a form of pediatric cancer of the sympathetic nervous system. Since then she has been treated by her physicians at Texas Children’s Hospital with intensive chemotherapy and surgery. Currently she is receiving radiation therapy. Nehir has touched the lives of many and she keeps amazing us all with her ability to fight the toughest struggle in her life, in the only way she knows, with innocence. Unfortunately, therapy for high-risk neuroblastoma results in cures only about 30% of the time. Therefore, Nehir’s physicians highly recommended a bone marrow transplant to increase her chances of survival.
Because of the extraordinary expense of transplantation, funding this life-saving operation is a monumental task. Nehir is uninsured and her family has been struggling to pay for her treatment. To help offset Nehir’s uninsured costs, family and friends have started a fundraising campaign in her honor through the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF). NTAF is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 25 years. All contributions are administered by NTAF exclusively for uninsured transplant-related expenses. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

ReplyDeleteI have fraternal girl twins that are 6 months old!
ReplyDeleteCome on over to our blog for a visit. The twins are now three and full of life. A funny thought- you are learning to raise twins and I am learning to raise a boy! Six weeks ago we welcomed little Sam to our family. Poor little guy...now he has three Moms!
ReplyDeleteI have 12 year old twin girls. Reading your blog takes me back to when they were so tiny and then so chubby. I miss that time!
ReplyDeleteNo multiples here other than multiple children but seeing those two adorable little girls together is the most precious thing ever!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG - all these babies! I have twin girls - they are 20 years old now and STILL SO AMAZING & AWESOME. Also, have a 19 year old son & 13 year old daughter! Your site is awesome.

I miscarried a twin during my third pregnancy, so I guess I don't really count either. We have five children, five and under, and would love to have twins!! They run on both sides of the family, so maybe one day if God chooses to bless us in that way.
ReplyDeleteYour babies are adorable!
well, I am one of a multiple... my sister and I are faternal twins. :)
ReplyDeleteI have 4 month old twin girls and a 18 month old daughter. I am so blessed. It is crazy living life with twins (especially at this age I think) but it's so much fun!! ReplyDeleteI am the momma to 4 little men, as well. You know full well the busyness that 4 ilttle ones very close in age can bring (4 boys ages 4 and under for several months - until #1 turned 5). {grins} The youngest 2 happen to be fraternal twins! It's an amazing journey that we're truly enjoying. I stumbled upon your blog when I was pregnant with my twins and have really enjoyed reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm a twin mama, too. I've got 4 boys and twin girls (3.5 years old), and I, too, feel so blessed. My girls are fraternal- they are so different in so many ways- everything from personality to physical traits.
ReplyDeleteYour mesmerizing multiples are magnificently marvelous.
ReplyDeleteLike my alliteration don't you??
I have no multiples but yours are fabulous!
You got me, coming out of semi-anonymity.
ReplyDeleteMy little guy is 2 and 1/2+ and the girls are 5 months old. In utero they presented as di/di but now they look alike. Look alike as in the hubs has confused them a couple of times. :o)
I don't have any multiples, but just wanted to comment on how much i LOVE the pix of your girls!! So kissable & huggable!! you ARE blessed!
ReplyDeleteI have no multiples but while blog-hopping found this site: http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com/ - they have a blogroll of moms of multiples.

I have one year old identical twin boys. I too am now mesmerized by twins. Watching their every move, how they interact with each other. Will they be best friends when they are older (I hope so)?
I feel so lucky that God has blessed us with these two beautiful boys. When I get the comments of "Better you than me!" I reply "Yup..you got it!"
Hi Brittany, as you know I am a twin mom with no blog but this amazing woman in AZ was preggo about the same time I was and I check in to her blog from time to time because she is amazing and give so much glory to God for blessing her life with six little kiddos. Check out www.maschemiracles.com.

ReplyDeleteI am a twin Mommy as well. I have 3 boys(6,5,and 3) and twin girls who are almost 21months. My girls are Fraternal, but we thought through their first year that they could be identical. Once they started losing the baby cheeks and grew hair, it is very obvious they are frats. Come on over anytime, my blog is www.theqfamilyadventure.blogger.com .
ReplyDeleteAngel
You have gorgeous children and you take amazing pictures! I, too have twins. Three year old boys. And I'm crazy about taking their pictures. I hope I can get as good as you!

ReplyDeleteI have an identical twin sister. We are forty-four and have always been very close. Our teachers could never tell us apart. We dressed alike until about college and then still some. I have always loved being a twin and never did feel like I needed my own identity. It is a bond I cherish.
ReplyDeleteI have twin boys that are 5.
ReplyDeleteHi - I have commented once or twice before, but don't think I have mentioned that I have a three and a half year old son and 10 month old fraternal twin girls. Our girls could not be more different - in looks and personality, and it is fascinating to read about your girls and other identicals and how similar they are.
ReplyDeleteCome by and visit - we would love to have you.

Hey Brittany! It's great getting to see new multiples blogs. I'm a momma to 2 year old BBB trips. Nathanial and Ethan are identical, Noah is fraternal. We also have a 13 year old boy, a 5 year old boy, and a 7 month old (today!!!) little girl. So, we've had four babies in less than 2 years (they were 19 months old when Hannah was born). Whew! Our life is crazy busy, so I don't get to update my blog as often as I'd like, but I do keep one. It's www.calonderfamily.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking about other blogs - I'm looking forward to checking everyone's out!
I have boy/ girl twins that are four and I think they are pretty darn cute! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Your family is beautiful!
Love your blog and your amazing photos! I have 21 month old boy/girl twins and they are SO different and SO much fun. We have a drama queen and a laid back dude...they are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I never gave twins/multiples much thought until I had my own. And now, it is like being part of a special club. I love it!
I have a set of 6 yo twins...so different that people usually ask if they're step brothers, cousins or friends....they're rarely known as twins, one has black hair, blue eyes, is 40 lbs and looks like my mom's side of the family, my other has brown hair, brown eyes, is 56 lbs, diabetic, epileptic and wears glasses. They have different blood types (O+ and A-) and used to talk in twin-talk....they called each other Nonnie long after they could speak....Lane translated for Ethan until he was finally able to speak English....do they count as twins?
ReplyDeleteHi Brittany!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea... I love following other twin mommy blogs too. I have a blog (365fox.blogspot.com) and have posted new pics everyday since my boys (now 7.5 months old) have been born. Check it out sometime and see my little cuties!
Beth
ME!!!!! I have identical twin girls who are now 8!!! I went on to have three other girls after them and living with 5 girls is a BLAST! I too was mesmorized by having identical twin girls. There is just something about the bond that they share. A bond, that I don't think you can see too much of yet. It's almost like their sensitivity towards each other is heightened and they can actually feel what the other is feeling. It isn't rare to find the one consoling the other when they have fallen, or had a harsh word cross their hearts. It is special and it is a blessing to those of us who get to witness it.
ReplyDeleteHi Brittany such fun looking at all the blogs listed. You have visited before and I am not the best at keeping up but will try to get Easter pictures up soon. I am a GBG 2 year old trip mom and love every single minute of it. Love your family they are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI've got twin girls about the same exact age as your girls. Isn't it amazing!

You know I'm here. I don't think you "follow" my blog though.
ReplyDeleteMy b/g twins just turned 2 and they couldn't be more different.
Hope to see you around!

They are best buddies and keep me laughing all day. I don't have a blog to share..........I like to check in with yours and look at your amazing photos. I WISH I could take good quality photos of my kiddos!! Your girls are absolutely adorable. They make me smile everytime I see a photo. Your sons are very handsome as well. I admire you..........4 boys and then you have twins!! I don't know how you did it. My twins were my first (and only) pregnancy. I have to say that I ALWAYS wanted twins and feel so blessed.

I have identical girls that are 18 months old. I also have a 3 1/2 year old boy. I absolutely love being a mom of twins. I've always been fascinated with twins and wanted to have twins. My husband and I even talked about having twin girls when we were engaged and picked out names. When we found out we were having twins and then GIRLS we were so excited. And we already had names for them:)

ReplyDeleteHi! I am the mom of two sets of boy-girl twins, born 20 months apart. They're now 21 and 20; three of them are students at the University of Texas in Austin and one is a student at Rice University in Houston. I am so blessed with four beautiful children. The first few years were a challenge but I wouldn't trade them for anything! Enjoy your beautiful kids. They grow up faster than you could ever imagine. Suzanne
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as usual Brittany :o) You've been to my blog before. I had three bio boys then adopted twin girls at 4 days old; they are almost 2 now! It's truly awesome having multiples.

ReplyDeleteHI Brittany,
ReplyDeleteI have delurked plenty of times, but in case you need a reminder, I have twins. (18 month old boy/girl) I just had to make my blog unlisted because the state is cracking down on confidentiality and foster kids, so if your interested in peeking at my blog, just shoot me an email, and I'll add you to the list of "chosen readers"
Mashelhall@comcast.net
I'm not a mother (yet...) but love reading your blog!! I also read this mother's blog:
ReplyDeletehttp://lotsofscotts.blogspot.com/
She has a set of TRIPLETS and is a strong Christian woman! She shares some much interesting stuff about her growing kids! Enjoy! :)
Hey! Just wanted to drop by. I've done several random picture challenges with you, and you have commented on my blog a few times. I have 5 month old b/g twins, and I found your blog when I was on bedrest in the hospital awaiting the arrival of my darling duo. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove you blog!
Carrie
Well you already know I'm here reading! (With my 2 sets of identical twins! LOL)
ReplyDeleteHere is a blog and she has two sets of twin girls. five kids altogether under the age of four. Kate is great and seems connected to other twin mommies like twinsanity and she writes for a online magazine. I think y'all might have a lot in common. let her know I sent you over but she might have already responded as I think she does read your blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

You know there are no multiples for me but I bet it is AMAZING to to watch them interact and act similarly. And yes, they are fun to see in person.
ReplyDeleteTwo moms in my Mom's club just had twins about 2 days apart and it's so fun to see them at playgroups and stuff and I like to help when I can since it's always good to have an extra set of hands!
Love these shots...
I stumbled upon your blog through my sister in law's. I was immediately intrigued because I have 2 little men and a set of girlie twins. My kids are all incredible but the addition of identical twin girls sent this family over the edge into complete bliss. Your kids are gorgeous. I look forward to learning more about you and your precious crew!
ReplyDeleteI have id boy twins that are 5. We adopt and were shocked to get a call from our director to come to the hospital to meet 3day old twins. They were preemies and we brought them home Christmas eve 2003. Their bond is amazing!!!! I think everyone should get to experience it:) There certainly is nothing like it!
ReplyDeleteHey there! No multiples here, just my 4 month old, Finn. I came across these websites today in Parent's magazine & thought you might like to check them out. www.justmultiples.com

Aw, Britt...those pics are adorable!!! I kinda feel they're my girls, too! :-) But I guess I can't truly count as a "multiples mama"!!
ReplyDeleteI have boy/girl twins, who just turned 6.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed a twins. I had the joy of being pregnant with identical twin boys 4 years ago. Unfortunately, they were monoamniotic (shared one gestastional sac and placenta) and they died due to cord compression at about 20 weeks. I smile EVERY SINGLE time I see identicals. It is an amzing blessing. I am happy I will have eternity to enjoy my boys and until then I will enjoy others!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI have identical twin daughters that are almost a year. Life is so busy with them but I wouldn't change a thing!
Your kids are adorable. :)
Hey-I found your blog last summer and have been checking it ever since. I delivered boy/girl twins January 12th. They were five weeks early. They are great now and we are leading a really exciting life!

www.hannahmcclain.blogspot.com
Sorry, I am just now commenting on this post. I have had a really busy week!Never a dull moment here!
Hannah
The photos of your twins are gorgeous! Well, all your pics are, but I especially love those. My youngest was a twin, but her sister died well before we ever got to meet her. There's many times I look at photos of my daughter and can't help but feel like half of the picture is missing. So seeing your pics is just wonderful. Our girls are pretty close in age too!
ReplyDeleteI have fabulous twin boys who will turn 1 in May! I blog in my "spare" time.
ReplyDeleteTwins turning two in May here! They were born early at 29 weeks so are our little miracles! My eldest twin also has Cerebral Palsy.
ReplyDeleteWell I have 4 little men also. 4yr old identical twin boys and 5 month old fraternal twin boys.
ReplyDeleteBrittany,
ReplyDeleteI check out your blog every once in a while (from a friend of a friends blog. I love seeing your pictures, as I am interested in photography.
