Seems like yesterday I was getting super excited about the thought that there would be 2 babies in these empty seats... the realness was setting in and it was awesome...

and sooner than we thought, there we were carrying 2 baby girls home from the hospital in those same seats...

and now 3 months later, nearly tripling their weight, here they are...

time... would you PLEASE slow down!

I love those seats, orange is my new favorite. And those girls in them are pretty sweet too.
ReplyDeleteWow, love the colors here! Look at those babes...yes, time marches on too fast--and that must be all the more evident when you are a parent...
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh they are precious!
ReplyDeleteI know they are identical but they look SO much alike. They are just adorable. You'll have to keep us posted on the eye color. I have one with hazel (like me) and one with brown (like my hubby).
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness- I love the photo sequence!
ReplyDeleteOh...look at that! They sure have grown. I love the carseat comparison.
ReplyDeleteIt does go WAY too fast!!
OH...look at them grow!! Its almost scary how fast these little ones get big!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I absolutely LOVE the seats!! What a fun color!!
I hate to say this but . . . don't blink! I just brought my firstborn home from the hospital (or so it seems!) and on Friday we went shopping for her grad gown. She's graduating from high school in June. And my baby turns eleven tomorrow. As she would say - YIKERS!
ReplyDeleteAs much as you want it to slow down, time only speeds up as they grow and . . . WHOOSH . . . suddenly they're all grown up!
Take oodles of pictures. We wish now that we had bought a video camera when they were little.
Wow, that does show how big they are getting!! It seems like they were just born!
ReplyDeleteAren't they the sweetest! Yes time moves way too quickly. Do you find it is moving even faster with these 2--I mean, first of all, there are 2 of them, and add 4 older boys to the mix, and wow--that just seems like lots of fun without a lot of time to sit and ponder it. ;)
ReplyDeletemy littlest one just turned 1 a month ago--and i look at her and wonder when she grew up. what a joy and blessing that you have twice as much baby to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow, look at how much they have filled out!!! What an amzing job you are doing. 6 perfect children!

ReplyDeleteI'm SCREAMING the same thing. My babies (my twins) just turned 3. I don't know where the time went. :)
ReplyDeleteYou quite possibly have no idea how many times that photo of your empty car seats pops into my head....we are just about ready to give ours a trial run out of the boxes..just so our two younger boys realise they will be moving to the backest seat of the car rather soon...I must take a shot of those empty seats so I can remember .....
ReplyDeleteSusan :):)
I was remembering that photo of yours recently: the empty carseats. Now look how FULL of love and beauty they are. Wow.

ReplyDeletedarling:)
ReplyDelete1st time poster but I've been reading for a while...love the photo sequence!
ReplyDeleteAnd now to be totally annoying...not sure if they were ready for the car in the last pic or not but if they were, just weren't sure if you knew the chest clip was supposed to be up higher...between their armpits.
Okay, I'm done being annoying now. Back to reading and enjoying the lovely pics!!
