I'm joining in the fun again for week 3 of It's a real life...
okay... seriously... it's real... there's dust & dirty floors and that is so NOT like me. But hey, it's real life right now. *grin*
this weeks theme is WHERE the MAGIC happens
on my dresser...
the drawing is of me as a little girl & the red dish is a pinch pot Grayson made for me.
IN my dresser...
I am slowly cleaning out my dresser so the twins will have a dresser in our room since they're going to be sleeping in our room. I have another dresser in my closet. I'm going from 2 dressers to 1... I think we'll be taking some clothes to goodwill. Ha!
What's on my nightstand....
my 'belly bar' lotion, the orange ribbon at the bottom of my lamp is a note that Grayson printed from his label maker that says "i love mom & dad"
there is usually a glass of water too
Your room looks very PB. I love the little touches like the pinch pot and label. How sweet. I also love that you have a mix of sketches and photos on your bureau- I think I will try that, I love the effect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely meme!
ReplyDeleteI love the framing you've used and the way the objects are placed on the dresser. It looks like a very special place.
Makes me want to take more of an effort with my stuff!
Your photos and drawing are beautiful...as is your home! Love the meme!
ReplyDeleteI love that YOU obviously LOVE your home...that is uplifting and infectious.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots...I am bemused as I look on your dresser as I have a sketch of myself as a five year old plus many of those figurines...we gave each of our children one for Easter...I was waiting because I wasn't pregnant then but I'm going to have to get myself one like yours as a little gift to me...oh and I am nine weeks but look like I am about sixteen or so. I am not built petite like you so I think some of my belly is a bit of excess~ grrr~ :)
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of you as a little girl, and I love the fact your son has a label maker! I need one of those. Off to make my own Real Life post... :)
ReplyDeleteThe windows... I would give a LOT to have windows like that.
ReplyDeleteCute little not grown up yet - toes... Love those best of all. :)
Your room is so YOU.
