We had such a beautiful weekend... despite the stormy forecast. On Sunday evening we went over to the baseball field and took the jet fighter for it's maiden voyage. The boys (all five) had a wonderful time running around, chasing the kite, chasing each other, chasing the dog, running with the kite, wrestling in the grass and enjoy the beautiful weather. All while I laid on the blanket... hence the new view. *grin*
I'm still not really sure how I got to your blog, but I've enjoyed reading about your boys & two on the way!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great & your children are beautiful!
Blessings to you as you make the most of bed rest! :)
Looks and sounds like you all had a blast - I would have no problem just laying down on a blanket! ; )
ReplyDeleteLove the kite pics! We flew kites on our vacation last week to the Outerbanks. We flew them at an awesome place called Jockey Ridge National Park in North Carolina. I'll have pics posted soon....hopefully! ;)
ReplyDeletePure awesome-ness
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
That perspective is so much fun! I've never done kite flying with Nadia - we'll have to change that!
ReplyDeletehi,
ReplyDeleteMy first two boys are twins...and I had to do bedrest from 21weeks on. How many weeks are you now? Since my twins were my first I didn't have children to care for but it was so lonely and boring. I did use the laptop a lot and made some fellow bedrest friends I still visit with. I just wanted to wish you well...my boys unfortunatly did come early 31.4weeks but they are doing AWESOME, you'd never know they had such a rough start...and my third little dude is was term baby and doing good too...LOL...Love your blog. I really need to start my own...sigh.
whoops...guess I should read a little before asking how many weeks you are...Its been awhile since I have visited your site. But getting caught up while my dudes all nap. :)

Great tunes on your blog by the way! I thoroughly enjoy listening while thoroughly enjoying the reading!
ReplyDeleteThere is something just spectacular about flying kites! I have wonderful memories of doing that with my family, when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteI like the new perspective ! :)

very fun pictures!! my boys keep bugging us to go fly kites. we need to go do it!! you've inspired me ;) te he he ;)
ReplyDeleteAhh, forced to lay in the grass and take photos. Now THAT is the life! Can you still lay on your back, or not anymore? After a while that gets so uncomfortable to me, esp. near the end of a pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's great to be forced into new perspective! Those are such sweet shots! I'm glad to see that you are resting "creatively"!
ReplyDeleteBrittany,
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I have been hanging around for awhile. While you are on bedrest (yikes!) can you help me out with this, have your boys always had such a healthy diet or was this a change you made along the way? I have three boys and although we do have a pretty clean diet, my two oldest ages 8 & 4, give me alot of resistance. Any tips on how to adjust their little taste buds or something that makes it easier for you? I'd love to hear more about the way you feed your family!
Your pictures are wonderful. It looks like everyone had a wonderful day.
ReplyDeletethe 2nd one of ozzie is soo so cute. he reminds me a lot of burger.
