ReplyDeleteEating for 4? Are you breastfeeding yet? Is that the 4?
How do you already know they are identical? Did you have and amnio?
I am so thrilled for you. Really! You are going to do wonderfully! :)
Hey Brittany!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your latest post! I remember so many of those thoughts running through my mind every minute! The girls were my first, so I didn't know any different (as far as a single pregnancy or normal delivery).. It is awesome to see that you have God! He will help you through every moment of this journey.. and He will use your boys or girls to share His amazing power! The power to create 2 perfect beings that can break all the odds that the world may set on them. The statistics mean nothing, because He created them perfectly together, sharing a the same sac, identical, and the best of friends!

How exciting for you. Will you find out their gender? My friend just had twin girls and they are so cute. She thought she was going to have to have a c-section because one was breach but they came 7 weeks early and were able to deliver them both normal! I had a c-section with my 4th so I know the scared feeling. Congrats can't wait to read about your experience!
ReplyDeleteAgain OMG! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteHey, just a thought I had. Have you watched the movie 'The Business of Being Born'? It is really interesting...I just watched it last night with my hubby and we 'both' really enjoyed it. It opens your eyes to allot of what goes on in the medical field of the 'business' of birth. Thought you'd might enjoy it! ;) Take a look-see...I'll leave you alone now- I promise.
ReplyDeleteHey, anyone who reads this blog...
ReplyDeleteYou've seen a smidgen of the list of things this mommy's gonna need; stay tuned for a link to a cyber-shower coming this summer!
Blessed indeed!
ReplyDeleteGod IS amazing and he knows you can handle it!
With a maid! : )
You have a great weekend too!
I am sitting here crying and I don't even know you! Congratulations, love to those tiny bundles!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you went on a cooking break! This is such wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteI have 3 kids now and would LOVE twins next. I'll just learn from you in case I'm that lucky.
Your hands will be full, but oh boy, your heart will be, too.
I found your blog by accident. I get it, I totally do! The boy part (I have 3!) Not the twin part! All I can say is, WOW! Your boys are adorable! God is good!
ReplyDeleteWow. Wow. Wow, like 6 times!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely thrilling! I have twins. It's fantastic. Wish they had 4 older brothers like your twins will have. UN.BE.LIEVE.ABLE!
So cool. Congrats.
(Ask me about the tummy tuck later.) :)
Great list. Identical twins, that is SO amazing.
ReplyDeleteAre you secretly wishing for there to be 2 girls in there? I would be (tee hee) ; )
Twins, wow! It seems like everyone I know, or know of through the web, are having twins! I'm glad God decided to pass me up when it came to twins, one is going to be a handful as it is with an 18 month and a 3 year old running around!
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy for you, they will be adorable and perfect, boys or girls!
I just wanted you to know we are very happy for you, I don't know if this is normal or not but I am stressing out for you!! I was up at 5 am with Brilyn the night you guys called us and I got her back to sleep and then I couldn't stop thinking about the TWINS! and how you might have to have a c-section and how could you breatfeed two. You are my hero if you pull that off btw. And how can you do cloth diapers for three??? Boy do I hope they are girls. I am sure Brilyn would love some girl cousins. Did Paul tell you that I have enough girl clothes for two!! Of course, they will not be matching. But maybe that would be good so you don't get them mixed up ha:) It's a special thing, but I can't help but worry for you. I am a big sister what can I say. Plus, I so have my hands full with two. There is something special about my little girl though and it almost makes me want to have another. I said ALMOST. I told Paul you need to be closer because you are going to need some help. He agreed. Hope you are feeling okay. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to move down I promise to help lots!
Karen
Oh Birttnay! I am so, so excited for you. What a wonderful family you have, I hope this pregnancy goes super smoothly for you.
ReplyDeleteI've been stalking your blog for the last couple weeks, just reading through GoogleReader, and I wanted to add my congratulations for the huge blessing coming your way! My sister has twin girls - so much fun!!
ReplyDeletejust now getting a chance to say congratulations!! how much fun!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! I am so excited for you!!!
ReplyDeleteSomeone above said something that reminded me of a response that I love to use. (my 4 are ages 7-4)Someone will usually say
"Oh, you've got your hands full!"
I try to smile, depending on the day!
And respond:
"Yep, and my heart is full too!"
CONGRATS!!! Do keep us updated!!!
Get plenty of rest, and keep taking such great care of yourself!
Oh my goodness! You are very blessed. I must say I wish I was in your shoes-really! I always wanted to have 6 kids. I had complications after my 3rd and had to have a hysterectomy. Makes me a little sad sometimes but I am so very thrilled for your family. I knew they were identical by the sac they share. How cool that you can see that! Take care and remember this is such an incredible gift!
ReplyDeleteoh my i was right... oooh that is so awesome.. wohooooo how cool is that.. Wow so either another 2 boys... or you finally have some girls to dress up :-)
ReplyDeleteTwins rock! Although I don't already have four.
ReplyDeleteYou think God is amazing...I think YOU'RE amazing.
I can't wait to follow this pregnancy. Just remember it's nothing like a single pregnancy!
I'm grinning from ear to ear!!!!!!!!! Many pregnancies have been announced in the past two weeks. I think I'm up to 5 - but yours is by far the most exciting (shhhhh don't tell anyone I said that. I know all babies are a blessing) but TWINS!!!! and IDENTICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYEAH! I must say that you are braver than I! Are the boys excited? Do they want a sister? I hope that it's girls!
ReplyDeleteYeah! I have always wanted twins! I'm sure they are a lot of work, but who cares! You can sleep when your beautiful kids are grown. I missed my chance on twins, how exciting for YOU! You are so blessed.
ReplyDelete(And sheesh I'm annoyed that people are already give you "I hope they're girls!" Maybe you're not annoyed, and that's good. But I got that A LOT when I was pregnant with Maisie and I "only" had two boys and it drove me nutso! And, yes, yes, you'll have your hands full, get over it people!)
Okay, I will stop ranting. Enjoy your pregnancy and I am SO excited for you and the little babylettes, whoever they are!!!!!
I found your blog a little while ago but never commented. Congratulations to you..If I ever have twins I want them to be identical!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited!!! That's going to be a whole lotta cloth diapers you'll need!
ReplyDeleteWow, congratulations!! I'll be back to read more. We have 3 boys (10, 7, 3) so I understand all the boy stuff. But (again) wow, you may have 6!! Talk about being outnumbered..
ReplyDeleteOops! Guess I offended people by my girls comment! Don't take me wrong I LOVE LOVE LOVE my boys (3 loves since I have 3 boys) I honestly don't have a CLUE what I'd do with a girl myself! I just thought it may be fun for you to have God change it up a little! Boys or girls I'm sure it'll be awesome!
ReplyDeletewow, how exciting. Please let me know if you need anything. I'm close!
ReplyDeleteI have had 3 c-sections- first was breech, 2nd was a failed homebirth v-bac, and 3rd- well by that time they didn't give me a choice! They aren't that bad.
Take Care!
Congrats to you and your family! What an exciting time.
ReplyDeleteHey Brittany!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being pregnant again! That is so exciting that you are having twins! You will have to give me some tips on how you do it because I can't even imagine how I'm going to handle a second =) I love your blog and all your beautiful pictures! Your boys are all so adorable.
I don't know you but I had to let you know how much I enjoyed your comments! You are precious! It is so obvious to me (and I'm sure to others) how much you adore your heavenly Father and all He's done for you. God bless you, Sweetie, as you mother these wonderful six little blessings! I'm touched by your blog and will probably be back to take another look when I have more time.
ReplyDeletea grandma -- Debbie
I love your post! Identical twins! Yay!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting. Just amazing. Totally can't wait to read all about your pregnancy. Are the boys excited? Do they want more men or two gals?
oh. my. gosh. girl. If anyone can do it, you can!!!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteALL THOSE THINGS AND MORE!!!
ReplyDeleteOh what a blessing...
Congrats! I love reading your blog about you and your boys.
ReplyDeleteI have a question though, my friend got pregnant just 4 months after having her first girl and she was told she had to give up nursing so the baby could get all the nutrients she needed. Have you been told that or no?
Congrats on twins, so very exciting!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog a while back and really enjoy it. You take great pics and I enjoy your tips and thoughts on holistic and natural living. Since having our son, it seems being healthy is so much more important to me, so we are on the same track.
Cloth diapering and all! ;) I think you can totally do 3 in cloth. Of course, don't feel bad if you have to have a back-up plan. Hehe.
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! Brit, this is fabulous news! How incredible. You're a stinker for keeping it a secret this long. lol
ReplyDeleteWow. That's all I can say, Brittany. Wow. Congratulations AGAIN. I'm so excited for you, since I'm done at one. :(
ReplyDeleteI will have to live vicariously through your blog. LOL.
You'll be in my prayers through these months.
